Post Update-development of Summer Days 2

Hello! How is your day going?


I'm writing this post as a way of communicating what I've been working on lately. Day 10 of Summer Days is going normally but, besides this, I am working on Summer Days 2 during my free time.


What have I accomplished so far? Well, the inventory system is finally working. You'll be able to buy and store items, which will unlock decisions when the time comes (I'll expand on this later).


One system that I haven't implemented yet (but that I do want to add and will be my next step after finishing SD1 Day 10) is the Points system for the characters. There will be several systems and each one will unlock special conversations with each character, depending on how many points we have. With this, what I want is that the characters don't look like NPCs with a couple of lines and that's it. I would like that every time you meet that character, you can talk about something different (at least during the first few times)... although this still needs some work and planning.


Aspects like the interface (and the active use of the cell phone) are still mere plans on paper, but I'm working on it.


Although Summer Days 2 Mainland is more far away than near yet, I do plan to launch several betas (maybe even a monthly beta) for Tier 3 Patreon members, so you should keep an eye on my future posts, where I'll talk about the future of this game, as well as the progress I make.


With Summer Days 2 Mainland I'm looking to create something VERY special. I want to position the game as one of the best furry games out there, but this needs time. But yes, this sequel is in development and going strong.


And yeah, In the cover sketch I wrote Summer with only 1 M... this cover is only illustrative of what it would look like :P
