Today, I want to how you my current project - André "The Giant". It's an amazing bust from:

It's a classical, medieval looking warrior, who has been on my wish list (to paint) for a long time now.
I wanted to paint a face that is full of emotion:
Sadness, horror, trauma, fear caused by war. His sad eyes tell a tragic story of someone, who is afraid of war. It also contrasts strongly with his surroundings, as you can see green reflections on his helmet, indicating that he is surrounded by beautiful green trees and grass.
This will be a long and complex step by step tutorial and it will be a bit more advanced - I really hope that you will enjoy it and it will help you grow as a painter.
