Update! Dante, Tyranids etc.
Added 2023-05-17 14:01:40 +0000 UTCHello Patrons, I just wanted to make a quick update post as it's been a while. I have been at work getting Dante finished. Parts 2 and 3 are now recorded and I will be editing many hours of footage together over the next few days, so look out for the message for that. I've tried to record as much as possible so hopefully there's lots of useful bits in there. I think many elements of the miniature could have been separate videos in their own right really. It's turned out to be a far more intensive project than I initially realised. Some bits I like and some bits I repainted multiple times! and some others still need tweaking before I can say it's 100% finished but it feels good to finally have it near completion at least.
To celebrate the imminent release of 10th edition I will be painting up at least 1 Tyranid miniature. Sadly I don't have access to any of the shiny new kits yet so this time I will be using a Warrior to showcase a paint scheme heavily inspired by the 3rd edition Codex art. I have admired this grim dark cover art since I started the hobby and I think it will be great to try to emulate it but in an 'eavy metal style. Trying to get some slightly quicker results this time though. I also hope to cover some of the other hivefleets too such as Leviathan.
After that next on the schedule is a Starborn Saurus from the new Seraphon range followed by some videos on Lion El'Jonson (now I have finally got hold of the mini!).
Right, time to get on with some editing...
