As the name suggests, this map is all about the memories of the departed.
Ahhh... can’t you already feel the air turn cold like a crypt’s breath?

About the Map
This is a small map, yes — but it’s full of eerie wonders. Picture your players squeezing through tight spaces, brushing past cold stone slabs hiding secret rooms, creeping through shadowy tunnels and columns... all while breathing in the foul stench of undeath. Tempting, isn’t it?
The crypt can be accessed either from a northern trapdoor or through the southern hallway. Players arrive in a cramped main chamber with six stone tombs, separated by a statue and four columns. Near each tomb sits a metal brazier, and inscriptions can be seen at the base of the statue.
This puzzle map is designed to make players think—but also give the GM room to have fun revealing the memories of the dead.
The pack includes handouts and a set of special item cards — these items can be found in the two small rooms to the south of the map (they are there for the players to see them!). However, they must be identified and matched to the correct tomb.

Each tomb has a bronze plaque — same metal as the braziers — with a short inscription.
There are six different objects and six inscriptions.
Players must match the right item to the right tomb by interpreting the clues.
If the wrong item is placed... well, you can decide: a vengeful spirit rises, or a curse is triggered.
If the offering is correct, the tomb responds with a flicker of memory — a glimpse into the life of the person buried there, and how the item came to matter to them.
Here’s an example of a memory scene:
A warmly lit room, seen from outside a small, quiet house.
The sun sets. Cut to an old man inside, holding a candle. He places it gently on the table, then softly blows it out. Darkness.
The scene repeats over several evenings — always the same quiet ritual:
the room glowing from within, the man with his candle, a final breath, and night falling.
Until one evening, we see the house again from outside. The sun has set…
but this time, the room stays dark, because there’s no one left to light it.

This map is perfect for a night of slow-burn mystery and exploration, especially if you enjoy mixing a bit of intimate horror and emotional storytelling at your table.
The map comes in two versions:
A classic crypt, with statue and bronze plaques.
A "gold" variant, featuring a magical portal.
Both are provided in intact and ruined states, and there are night versions to help you set the perfect mood.
I hope you enjoy this little puzzle of memory and mourning.
Let me know how your players deal with it — and whether they manage to earn the spirits’ peace... or their wrath.
