About the map
The Eternal Flame is a widely revisited idea across various fantasy lore. My take draws inspiration from real natural phenomena—eternal flames sustained by natural gas vents—while adding a fantasy twist. I've included a molten forge-like pool and veins of lava. The concept centers on an eternal flame trapped within ice.
The flame generates intense heat, melting the snow in this frozen landscape, yet the surrounding ice appears even more resilient than the fire itself. Or perhaps there's something deeper—a magical balance of opposing elements, sustaining the power of the fire while trapping it in place.
