FANTASY MAPS: Underdark Tales 1

And here we are with the first set of Fantasy Maps for the Adventurer Tier update!

If you’re feeling a bit confused, don’t worry—that’s completely normal. All these changes feel new for me too, but after announcing them in several posts, I think it’s time to start experimenting.

Sure, I might have played it safe by sticking to my comfort zone with classic continent maps, but for this debut, I wanted to go with the theme from the latest poll: Battle Maps from the Underdark!

Today’s release includes two maps: a regional map and a conceptual one.

Both aim to capture the dark, eerie vibe of the Underdark. I’ve marked a few locations on the map that you’ll also see in the upcoming battlemaps released alongside these.

Moving forward, I’ll try to align my fantasy maps—whenever possible—with past and future releases, so it’ll be easier to create a connected multiverse where regional maps, city maps, and battlemaps will fit together, making the whole collection more cohesive and practical.

It’s going to be a huge undertaking, and I hope I’m up for the challenge!

For those who missed the previous posts: In the new rewards distribution, battle maps have increased for Travelers, while Citizens and Adventurers will now have the same amount of battlemaps. However, only Adventurers will have access to an exclusive collection—the Fantasy Maps! These maps will be released 2 to 3 times a month, often themed or tailored to specific settings (snowy mountains, archipelagos, vast deserts, large continents, or even entire worlds!).
These maps are replacing what used to be the Character Tokens.
This change is definitely pushing my limits, as creating and designing fantasy maps takes a lot more time than making tokens. I truly hope it was the right choice, and that’s why I asked you all to vote through a poll. I’m really excited about expanding this collection!
