Here we are with some updates. You’ll probably hear me say this a few times, but it’s necessary because today marks the official start of this change, and I want to make sure everyone’s on the same page: THE TIERS HAVE CHANGED.

As previously announced, this means:

More maps for Travelers and Citizens,
Both Adventurers and Citizens will now unlock ALL battlemaps,
Only Adventurers will have access to an exclusive new content: Fantasy Maps (continents, worlds, cities, archipelagos, etc.).

So, there will be two separate links to download the battlemaps: one for Travelers and one for Citizens and Adventurers. Additional rewards (Fantasy Maps) will be published in a different post with restricted access.

Please bear with me… it might take a few tries to properly balance the rewards. Just know that I’m doing my best to ensure a fair and satisfying experience for everyone!

About the map!
The Fortress of Shadows, also known as Crux Fort, is another location available within the Fantasy Maps collection for Adventurers.
The idea behind it is an Underdark fortress—or what’s left of it—basically its ruins. It’s located on a rocky descent, like a hollowed-out hole in the stone that now barely protects what remains of this place. The map is ideal for a quick exploration and is set across two different levels!
The upper level features the ruins of the fortress, weather-beaten and marked by the remnants of a spider cult. There are both open and enclosed spaces, along with two access points to the lower level: one inside the sealed tower in the north, and the other along the rocky descent to the northeast. Either path will take you down to the cells and the old prison on the lower floor!
The cells are divided into three separate areas, damaged by time, with some walls collapsed. You’ll also find secret rooms and some visible ones, not to mention treasures, spider cocoons, and other curiosities.
Oh, and in case you get lost, you can always ask for help from the local spirits! Some map variations include a “Haunted” version featuring ghostly figures. The idea is to tie each spirit to memory or lore fragments that can guide the players… wherever you want them to go!
