Changes on the ADVENTURER TIER - Let's have a serious Talk...

When I started this Patreon, it was to have the opportunity to develop my skills and combine them with my passion for creating RPG content. Today, I realize that I don't enjoy creating tokens as much as I enjoy making maps, so I'm considering changing the format of the Adventurer package.
As you all know, I'm always happy to support new ideas and needs; your opinion is ESSENTIAL in this decision. That's why I want to launch a poll, relying on its result if there's unanimity or a clear majority (at least 65% of the voters).
I'll provide some options for you to choose from. As you already know, besides drawing battle maps, I'm a cartographer who works on fantasy maps as a whole. Here you can find my drawings to understand what I'm talking about: Fantasy Maps.
Here are my proposals:
1. Keep the same mixed publication of Figure Tokens accompanied by disc portraits.
2. Draw ONLY disc portraits, but with greater detail.
3. Remove the Tokens and have a series of published World Maps. These maps could range from regions, cities, continents, to extended worlds.
What has previously scared me about proposing maps is that some works can take 6-9 hours, while others might require 40-60 hours. This means that guaranteeing a weekly publication with grand works would be unsustainable for me.
So, option three will be balanced by adding standalone publications that reflect the main themes of the proposed maps during the month, but they won’t have a precise schedule due to the diversity of their nature.
I'm not sure what you all think about this, but I'd love it if you decided to discuss it here.

Well, have come to realize that I am unable to produce high-quality tokens and I don't find the process rewarding. This is contrary to my initial expectations. Therefore, I would prefer to create materials that I can take pride in. Although making maps will take more time, they will be better and more unique items compared to tokens. Thank you for sharing your point of view!

2024-06-04 12:10:37 +0000 UTCI personally use to the tokens, never the disks. But there are plenty of places to get those already. So if it's taking up alot of your time which could be used to make something more profitable and things you enjoy doing more, I'd say ditch the tokens and rock out more maps.
