Phew! What a challenge it has been, but I'm super excited to bring you the latest release. I've worked tirelessly to create a couple of variations for the Tile Set, making it easier to play and enjoy. I really hope this new set proves to be useful for everyone, including our adventurous Travelers.
But let's jump right into it!
About the map:
Get ready to explore the Shifting Sands Maze, a simple labyrinth. Who doesn't love a good maze, right? Well, my players may have mixed feelings about them, but let's focus on the positive!
You can use this map as a standalone maze or spice things up by combining it with the Green Note—a mysterious scribbled map left hidden at the maze's entrance. Don't forget to check out the Green Note in this post, as it marks points of interest and cryptic locations!

Originally, I planned to keep the replaceable tiles as solid blocks, but I had a stroke of inspiration. I decided to switch things up to better simulate the sand disappearing down the traps. So, here we are!
When you explore this map, you'll quickly realize there's a heap of sand blocking the central part of the maze. Of course, you can try crossing it... if you dare! Who knows what dangers or treasures lie beneath those shifting sands? And keep an eye out for the scattered runes throughout the map—they strangely align with the four halls located at the maze's corners.
Here's the challenge: you need to find and activate all the runes to unlock hidden traps and allow the sand to flow, revealing the true heart of the maze. Check out the Legend below for more information, and don't worry, you'll find a copy in the Reward folder!

Now, the story that Adventurers and Citizens alike will uncover is what lies beneath the central grate—a massive sand-filled arena right in the middle! Although I couldn't bring my original vision of an Underground Colosseum to life, I couldn't resist giving you a taste of it here. This additional floor features rooms to explore and stairs leading to the southern exit—a separate structure of the maze.
Oh, and one more thing: I racked my brain to come up with a unique set of tokens that wouldn't be repetitive with Desertic monsters or NPCs. As an experiment, I've decided to attach a set of four Riddles exclusively for Adventurers (replacing the standard tokens). Each riddle is tied to a specific Rune. So, gather your players and let them roll their best to solve these riddles!
