Added 2024-06-09 23:06:50 +0000 UTCHey, everyone! I've been hard at working looking for the right solution to the problem of old save files getting stuck in loops and crashing all the time, and while what I made is far from perfect, it should take care of at least most of these cases.
Before we get to that, however, I do have the results of this week's poll. Here are the top three winners:

With this I'll start working on the new caress mechanic and a new petite model to go along with it. However, first let me instruct those of you that are struggling with old save corruption on how to use the tools I have provided in this patch.
Basically, there are two options. First, you can access the "hard reset" option from your bedroom, if you are lucky enough to get stuck there. This will skip to the time to sunday and reset the week loop, allowing you to play as normal.
If you do not have the option to access the bedroom, I have included a "Debug" button in the registry book. Once you click it and exit the book menu, there should be another button in the top left corner of the screen that you can use to trigger the hard reset this way.
I have tested these solutions on some of my own corrupted save files and it seemed to work, but if it doesn't work for you, I'm afraid the only option left will be to alter the script of the game yourself.
