CHANGES IN STYLE - VOTING - IMPORTANT!!!
Added 2023-02-16 22:24:51 +0000 UTCOkay, guys, so first off! I would really, really, REALLY appreciate it if you could participate in this poll. This going to be a pretty big decision for the project and I need to know what the general consensus will be on this.
So, basically a while ago I got approached by an artist who offered to draw some assets for the game. We agreed to have him remake an already existing body model along with some other assets for testing.
I'd like you to check these remakes out and decide if you like this artstyle and if it should become the art direction for the game in the future. Depending on your answers, I'll keep working with this artist and it should take a big part of the work load off my back, or I'll keep the artstyle as it is for the forseeable future and look for help elsewhere.
Please, if you have the time, I'd like for you to vote on this. I believe this is a decision that needs to be made by the game's community first and everyone's opinion here will matter greatly. Don't forget to leave some comments and feedback below, if you want to be more specific.

Gonna be honest, the new style naked really isn’t doing it for me, especially the face and eyes. While the old-style biggest flaw is the largest eye type for females, that are bit disturbing. Forced to choose I’d go with just improving the old style. The body type of the new style does look slightly better that old, minus their feet, and if you reduce the breast size and thin the thighs and legs, then redrew it in the style of the old, it could work as a second body shape for female NPCs. If possible, try creating or commissioning something that’s a merger of the two the two styles. For example, the body type of the new combined with the face of the old. Are old style’s body and face drawn in the style of the new. Lastly, the cloths of the new style does look better. Curious how they'd look on the old style.
