(In Lieu of) SFW Exclusive October: MCM London

Hiya my darlings!

I wanted to quickly say off the bat, I apologize, but I simply cannot muster the energy to draw up a sfw exclusive this month.

I worked myself down to the bone with OTK, all the Critical Role Pieces, and Kinktober. BUT!!! I thought in lieu of a piece, I could give you a little insight on what I did last week! <3

On Wednesday last week I left from Zurich with my friends to go to London!!! To attend the Critical Role Live Show!!! Packing was a pain, trying to fit all the stuff I wanted to bring, but finally we were on our way and the same night we got to see the Mighty Nein return!! It was so much fun, an absolutely surreal and once in a lifetime experience. 12000 people were in that stadium, and the cheers that were surrounding me whenever someone rolled a nat 20 was absolutely insane!!!! :D
I had such a fantastic time!

The next day I went to set up for MCM, it took a lot longer than it usually would have because i had 25 new Prints I needed to fit on my display, but I think it ended up looking rather spectacular!!
My friends went to watch Wicked while I was setting up, and in the evening we went to have some delicious japanese BBQ (my first time!!!!)!! 

On friday was the first day of MCM, it was so overwhelming with how much kindness, joy and simply just good vibes i was met with!! I EVEN GOT TO MEET SOME OF YOU!!! <3333 to all of you who came by my table to say hi, buy prints (some of you specifically asking for my OC artwork???? i cannot fathom????????) absolutely threw me for a loop (in the best way!). <3 Thank you so so so much!!

Friday night was spent in with two of my friends, with Pizza and Helluvaboss (oh man a new fandom i suppose, there will most definitely be art once I recover).

Saturday was a loooooooong day. I got to the con at 9 and it closed at 7, and then we went back to our airbnb, ate some food and played a oneshot that our DM had prepared, for which I made a mammoth Loxodon OC named Fuzzy Moth Oodle! He was such a joy to play, but I was also so so tired.

Sunday, the last day, was an unexpected success, so many people were at this con, specifically of course to see the critical role cast! I saw soooooo so so many incredible cosplays, and I just wanted to share a few that I took pictures of! I sadly didn't get a slot to get any autographs or meet any of the cast, but I did swing by their booths (when they were having their sunday morning panel in the main hall) and dropped off a packet of all the character prints I had made. I really hope they got them! <3

My friends left sunday afternoon, and I was left to pack up my table and get back to the airbnb for a night in alone after so much hullaballoo. (which fun fact, i managed to get on the tube into the wrong direction TWICE with all my luggage. :'DD)

It was really strange to be alone that night after all that had happened, I had a little breakdown because I worked so so hard for so long, for this weekend, and suddenly all the pressure was just gone. ;;

and then yesterday, Monday, most of the day was spent traveling, even if it ended up just being a two hour flight, there was delays, many tubes, (tmi: i got my period), and it was just a whole lot too much. Finally I was home. Happy for such an incredible weekend, meeting so many incredible people, old friends, making new ones, and just having a blast.

But I am absolutely exhausted.

I will take this week to recuperate and take a proper break for the first time since March. <3 I will still be drawing, but it will probably mainly be stuff that I just wanna draw, and not in the amount that you've seen last month (which isn't my norm anyway).

I wanted to say thank you so much to all of you who are sticking with me, it's an absolute blast to draw for you guys, and I don't want to ever stop. <3 I hope it's all right with you guys if there is not as much content this week, and that there won't be a proper sfw exclusive (except for maybe Fuzzy Moth Oodle) this month. I sincerely apologize, but I hope that you will understand.

AND if you've read this whole thing, thank you. I know that it's a lot, a lot of me, a lot of tmi, a lot of information that you didn't sign up for, but nevertheless. thank you. <3

(I'll be playing a lot of baldur's gate 3 this week, so there will be new art for that soon, I assure you.)
