Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

PHOTO: Mariah visited my California studio for this shoot many years ago. She became intrigued by yoga photos she saw on my walls. I told her about the many wonderful yoga teachers I had photographed over the years. Fascinated, she decided to go take some yoga classes herself.
Now she has become a wonderful yoga teacher herself. She teaches at her Grass Valley, California, yoga studio (warmthstudio.com).
