Urdvha Dhanurasana (Wheel pose), and the more advanced Eka Pada Urdvha Dhanurasana (One-legged Wheel pose), are difficult yoga poses. But once we learn to rise up into them, they are a great way to warm up the whole body, and the spine in particular. It is a favorite way for many of my yoga models to warm up their backs before we do poses that involve deep backbends of any kind.
