Layover shoot
Added 2021-04-04 04:54:52 +0000 UTCStefanie is an athlete from Germany. She had seen my photography in several international magazines and wanted to shoot with me. But it was hard for her to budget the cost of a flight to Los Angeles, and hotel costs, just for a shoot.
About a year after we first talked, she called and informed me she had a vacation planned for Hawaii. The airline had given her a connecting flight through Los Angles airport, and she had a 6 hour layover. She wondered if we could sneak in a shoot in that time. I said “Sure!”
I picked her up from the airport, drove straight to my studio and did a fun two hour shoot. All her clothes were in still packed in her luggage at the airport, but since we were shooting nudes, that did not matter!
After the shoot we still had some time. I told her about an excellent Indian restaurant that was located on the road to the airport. So we stopped by there and enjoyed a delicious dinner. She made her flight in plenty of time!
