2025-10-16 10:38:49 +0000 UTCWhen the subtitles say 'friends' theyre translating the word 'chingu' which is an informal way of saying friends for people the same age as you (seniority usually means formal language is used) you can still be friends with pekple older or younger, its just a different word and differen language used. For example, Jungkook and Jimin are very close friends and Jungkook doesnt always use formal language with him, but they wouldn't be 'friends' in the 'chingu' sense
