It doesn't seem to matter if the song is in Korean or English, if the members are Korean or Japanese, Thai etc, what genre of music it is. The only thing consistent is the trainee system.

Kpop is popular today but BTS is not Kpop, it is something much more special.

2025-09-21 20:21:27 +0000 UTCtrue other groups communicate with fans and do all the things BTS is doing but if you as a fan watch all of that BTS is just different in every way. also the content the groups are making now is basically adapted by BTS own vararity shows and other content. BTS was the role model for other groups to do the same and many of them do it because they are told to do it for marketing purpose. not because they actually enjoy communicate with their fans like BTS do. and as a fan you can feel when it´s not real and when the idols say or do thing just because they are on camera. But bts never did that, they invented their own shows, and really enjoy hanging out with army. and they dont put on a show or a facade because they know army support them no matter what so they feel comfortable doing whatever they want. and that is one of the things that makes BTS unique in my book. they were always the goofballs and watching korean award shows BTS really stood out. other idols looked like dolls or robots just standing there emotionless while BTS was complete goofballs and chaos it is such a contrast and also why people really related with them as people and their music. they dont try to be perfect they are just raw and unfiltered and show imperfection that is the main thing BTS does different.

They have helped me in so many ways, and they have teached me so many things. There's a reason why they are the biggest Kpop group in the wolrd, and one of the biggest groups in general. They are definitely a "one of a kind" type of group, I truly love them so much.

I saw BTS for the first time in Canada during the LY tour and just yeah the way people looked at us like we were crazy for liking them, I still get those stares today when I tell my friends or family I'm flying to US to see a BTS member. The way I show up for my boys gives me joy. I want them to feel my love just as they've shown love to me through music and their words. It's not even work the amount of projects we do as a fandom and streaming everyday. It's effortless at this point and it's more like a way of living. Being an ARMY really changed my life.
