Suga wasn’t giving them the business when he said jungkook is their main vocalist lol he was saying that he sings a lot of lyrics so he knows them… jungkook records all the guides for bts songs for them to go off of his vocals… so he knows all the parts and there’s behind the scene clips of rm and others checking lyrics with jungkook before a live performance bc he knows everything lol it’s why he can harmonize and adlib so well with every single one of their parts… his vocals are literally the foundation of bts songs… and a lot of the time ppl assume Sugas produced a ton of bts songs.. but he’s produced like 10 of them… the rappers get credited for writing bts songs… but in truth the rappers mainly wrote their individual verses alone… it’s why they’re always at the bottom of the lyric listings. It’s amazing and I love that bc their parts always feel so true to each rapper… unfortunately while the vocalists have all helped write and some produce bts songs… they don’t have singular parts like the rappers do… and often have to share and pass off on parts so it’s a totally different writing experience in a group… like the rappers don’t trade off lyrics like is typical for vocalists in a song. Doesn’t take anything away from the rappers.. but ppl always try to discredit the vocalists when in truth what they do is very different roles… and they all do their own roles beautifully… they fold into each other to form this exceptional group that’s truly a standout in the music world imo… not just the kpop world… for their authenticity
