That same year on Army Day, BTS: Beyond the Story was published which is a book considered an archive of the first 10 years of their career. It has QR codes that takes you to the specific MVs and bangtan bombs the book is referring to, and includes interviews with each of the members throughout the book.

2025-07-12 22:24:31 +0000 UTCgosh being an army back in 2017 was BRUTAL. probably the hardest year as an army tbh. the amount of utter bullshit we had to deal with to defend bts was insane. like it was just nonstop xenophobia, racism, and prejudice. it definitely took an emotional toll on the whole fandom. i remember being stressed and so hurt for our boys because even tho armys were doing everything and pushing to defend them, we knew that they were also seeing what was being said online & we obviously couldn’t protect them from all the negativity. we could only hope that it didn’t affect them that bad. jeez. rough times. but we had to go through all that for us to get to where we are today. bts continued to break through barriers and obstacles and they’ve remained on top since 2017. so in a sense, it was worth it. because now they’re the most sought out band, most impactful band, and most respected band.

I know it’s easy to get riled up over things people say and write on the internet, but please never speak ill or negatively about someone (especially about their appearance). Lots of these awards, including Billboard, are dependent on physical sales, spotify, iTunes, and youtube. Army (including you when you're not recording) needs to play the songs over and over. There are rules, such as you can't loop, and every format has different rules, but it's very important to do it, and for you, remind everyone here to go support them. I love Rise of Bangtan, keep it up!!

Back then RM did so much as a leader and he did not translate hate comments or demeaning questions for the other guys, he reworded a lot of questions during interviews and defended ARMYS. He only spoke kind positive things about us no matter how much the american interviews and media tried to spin us as crazy rabid fangirls without brains. I always tell myself not to engage with BTS haters on social media, especially on X, but sometimes when it gets too much, I can’t help but clap back. LOL. I’m a Jimin bias, and every day I see JM antis spewing hate, sending death threats, and it blows my mind how people can hate someone they don’t even know. They hate on Jimin for his successful solo career, for his close bond with JK, or just for existing. These antis and fake ‘Army’ are not real fans in my book. Jimin is my ultimate bias, with JK and Yoongi as my second biases, but I’m an Army through and through. I support all the boys by streaming and buying their music, without pitting them against each other. I am an Army but only in the sense of what an Army means to BTS.

The later episodes have the best ones, and in the scenes from this episode, you can even see more of their pets like Jin’s sugar gliders.
