Personally, I found the MV of Idol to be a bit annoying and loud (color and pattern-wise), so I actually didn't even like listening to the song... UNTIL I WATCHED THIS TONIGHT SHOW PERFORMANCE!!! I was converted and have loved the song ever since. I always picture this performance whenever I hear the song now. It was filmed during their covid take-over week of the Tonight Show. All great performances and some silly games. IDOL and BLACK SWAN were my favorites.

2025-07-06 19:10:56 +0000 UTCYeah I remember that too and you see the evidence in the video itself. At the beginning of filming there were no ARMYs there or ppl on the sidewalks. But ARMYs that worked in the area and were driving by, spotted BTS and reported back on twitter. After that a whole bunch of ARMY went to the intersection/filming and they ended up having to close off the street and put up railings to keep ARMY on the sidewalks safe + contained (you can also see this in the vid: it goes from no armys, to a bunch of ARMYs, to a bunch of ARMYs behind railings).

I listen after that they closed and detour that block but I was literally the last flow of traffic

If you noticed, during Butter there were no fans in any of the cars then they started coming. Then videos of the boys from people in their cars started getting posted. That day was so much fun!

Having the incredible, and impressive, amount of deeper knowledge you've gained into BTS so far, watching yourselves from back then will hurt your stomach from laughing, not to mention from cringing. AND please upload it for all of us to have a blast too!!! My respect for your unchanging love for ot7 while tirelessly babysitting a classroom full of preschoolers complaining, whining, nagging subscribers. I would've ditched us if I were you, let alone the chatroom of a circus. I often see myself posting and sharing pics and stuff and get the hell out of there because I don't want to be buried alive. And ARMY figured it out it was going to be BTS. One of the white cars had a dirty bonnet and Tae touched it and left his hand print. The girl who owned that car was ARMY and didn't want to wash her car ever again!

2025-07-03 20:48:53 +0000 UTCarmy's and james cordon's relationship is actually a bit rocky. he basically made a joke once that every army is a 13 year old girl which got him into some trouble with armys. namjoon actually called him out on it in an interview they were doing to which james kind of stuttered out some form of an apology (he was obviously taken off guard by namjoon bringing it up) and namjoon responded with 'we appreciate your apology' and it was just kinda left at that. this doesn't mean that you guys have to hate him as everyone can form their own options but just letting you know 💜💜

That was a real life traffic on a busy street, not staged. There were a few lucky motorists who were on that road that morning who knew them, while others were just clueless. One of the lucky ones was a local tv news anchor, and the hood of her car was touched by V. She told her story later that day during broadcast.

In fact, a lady who was stuck in traffic was I believe from NBC and she took a video of the boys dancing while she was waiting for the light to change. And she posted on her social media account. Iwould imagine though that Corden may have arranged with the city transportation for a brief extension of the red light so the boys can perform.

When the crosswalk countdown hit one and the light turned green, they really had to run off. You can even tell when they were performing Dynamite, when Rm, JK, and V went back to get that last prop, the light was green when they ran back and 2 car starting driving after they saw the 3 of them cross the road, so yeah, they were actually performing during the red light💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

2025-07-03 14:01:44 +0000 UTCi remember watching clips of army there while they were filming it. and it was a real army in the car the red haired lady who high-fived jimin. when she recorded she kept screaming lol. and there was also another one who was so shocked to se them, idk if she was a full blown army but she definitely knew bts and recorded them through the car window. and there was also army there at the scene filming. so idk if it was staged or maybe only part of it. maybe they have signs warning people about it. idk but for sure some sort of security is there so no one would drive them over because they got annoyed. also when james did the carpole he had the car towed for safety reasons
