It is a Hawaiian staple of rice with a slice of spam wrapped in nori (seaweed wrap). It is delicious, my go to breakfast. Spam is a big deal in Hawaii. They even have an annual Spam Festival in Honolulu. Also, Seb, the dark bun that they were eating is a taro bun. Made from taro root, another staple food in Hawaii.
