RM didn't plagiarize anything, in fact BTS anti-fans accused them of it from the beginning and continue to do so, when they used samples, but since many of those fans weren't familiar with hip-hop culture, their artists didn't produce their own music or write their own songs, although they rapped they didn't know what a sample was. The series in general is good, there are just a few details I've seen omitted, for example the harassment of specific Big 3 groups towards BTS, it was always those same groups, EXO, Big Bang. Even in an acceptance speech, one of the EXO members insinuated that it was a matter of time before they would win the awards again, quoting a Chinese proverb, in front of Bangtan, who had literally gotten off the stage with their hearts racing from the complex presentation they made at that moment and immediately, as a dehumanizing act, they made them go up to receive the award, they couldn't even recover from their presentation, the worst thing was while they were announcing the award, EXO fans were giving BTS the middle finger, and there are videos of that moment. That's why BTS are a source of inspiration in the face of adversity and they deserve every award and glory they receive because at that moment they were alone, no one protected them and people were cruel for no reason, That's why ARMY is so overprotective of them, because every day is a constant struggle to show them that they deserve all the success they have, because they sometimes continue to doubt, because of everything they went through, But when you see them you say, my god, how is it possible that you doubt your talent?

It was all fabricated to get people to hate on them and take away from their success, the attention and the international love they were receiving. 2. I don’t like that she’s got the whole fandom reacting to a gazillion part series trying to get to know BTS and their story. Back in the day when I was getting to know BTS it was maybe one or two 20-25 minute videos. This series is soooooooo long and such an undertaking for reactors/new fans. I just think it’s silly the whole fandom (I’m assuming baby army’s around the time of the pandemic) started with this series and started pushing it to new reactors like it’s revolutionary. BTS have other docuseries for that.

dating is kind of a touchy subject in kpop for some reason. idols are not allowed to date until 3 years after they have debuted, which is crazy. for example seunghan who was in RIIZE had a girlfriend predebut, his company found out about it, put him on hiatus to reflect on his actions. they then brought him back october last year where the fans death threated him so much he left again.

Not trying to be rude or anything because you've done better at pausing, but I beg of you that when you do pause please back up some to read what they're saying. You paid more attention to what other kpop idols said at the beginning than some of the important stuff the members said throughout the show because of the banter between you all/giggles/pausing to talk about bowling etc. Even when they're showing the taxing effects of the tour on the members bodies, you make jokes about giving each other massages. That's fine to banter, but if you are laughing/joking/talking over important things the members are saying, you're missing their 'rise'. I think Wings is probably the album that put them on the map. Especially because Blood, Sweat and Tears was very well received in the music industry in Korea. It was the first time BTS got a grand prize at the Award shows. You may have seen their reaction when they win. It was one of shock and pride! Hobi left the group at one point because at the time the group and Big Hit was struggling and he didn't think that they will make it. Jungkook cried and begged him to not leave.  He only came back because of the members and Namjoon convinced Big Hit that they need Hobi.  Jimin has mentioned that he was almost cut 8 times. He only had 6 months to train before their debut. He struggled to learn the choreography which was completely different from his contemporary dance background and at the time, he also struggled with his voice, he felt he could not sing. There was no plagirism at all. It wasn't really about the songs, it was about the pictures and MVs. Back in the day, the Kpop world was obsessed with the school theme. So MVs were filmed in schools and bands wore school uniforms and did photoshoots as well. So, BTS's photoshoot looked a bit similar to another group, so their fans made tags on twitter and escalated the situation (a crazy fandom that I don't want to name). Other bands made similar photoshoots as well but the fandom was targeting BTS since they were competing against their favorite band and stealing the trophies from them. RM thought he had to apologize to survive in the industry. If that happened recently, I guarantee you RM would not have apologized. He would have everyone backing him up.

Something about how his style didn’t match the group (considering he was a contemporary dancer seems fair) since they were hip hop back then, and he didn’t have a lot of training before debut but he managed to stay. Charlie you are so right about people looking and taking advantage of any little reason to hate on bts. Recent example is how people treated yoongi bc of the scooter incident while in the military :(. He was extremely hated and people were even demanding he leave the group and even sending death wreaths to the company’s doorsteps. It’s just horrible how there were idols out there being accused of r6pe and yet they decided to focus on yoongis incident. Which was him falling off his scooter. They made it seem as if yoongi had ran someone over or had crashed onto the street and was going 80 miles per hour. He was neither going fast nor on a car. He was slightly drunk and was on a SCOOTER and fell in front of his APARTMENT while riding slowly on the SIDEWALK. And yet they made him apologize and made it into a huge deal as if he had committed something worse he was talked about and hated on in every news station in Korea as if he was a “hot topic”. This hugely affected yoongi because he even recently posted on Weverse straight out the military yet again apologizing for what he did and said something along the lines of how he was even thinking of stepping back from something he was doing all his life. While I’m sure the boys have dated and may be dating now earlier on it would have been almost career ending to be dating as an idol. The guys are beyond that now being global stars. That’s just the way the industry unfortunately sets them up. The boys have been linked to people and rumored to be dating at times but none have ever come out and confirmed. j-hope's Mama stage is a fan favorite. It's one of those that gives you goosebumps every time you watch it. It stole the show at the concert and it really marked the start of everyone understanding j-hope's power on stage. I do hope you'll react to the Wings concert (the one they played for BangBangCon is the best so try to find that one). It's so memorable. If not, at least watch the Mama stage with blonde j-hope. The adlibs in that version are INSANE.

BTS had won their first AOTY right before this all started, the first time a group outside the Big 3 had done so.

In the kpop industry, kpop idols get a lot of hate that yes extend to (trigger warning) death threats for sometimes very minor cases. I think it's because of that view that people think that idols are literally that 'idols' who are perfect in every way and could do no wrong but when they see that their idols have made mistakes, they start hating like 'oh this is not who I thought you were' etc. because people actually forget that these people are human

The group and Jimin has said that he came close to being fired more than 10 times before debut, as close as a few months before debut as well. I think it was the weekly evaluations where the management wanted him out. They said the reason was that his trainee period was too short and coming from contemporary dance, it took some time for him to adjust to hiphop, which was their primary sound and focus initially. But the group have again and again said he was the most hardworking trainee they had ever seen so he was ultimately selected for the group, after a lot of the members advocated for him. RM talked to management, Suga was the one who wanted him to sing even though they were training him for Rap tried convincing the management, and ultimately they asked the 6 previously selected members if they wanted Jimin in the team and they said yes.

Wings Tour was epic 🔥🔥 Mama🥰🥰 an all time fave of mine from Hobi. Watch the full performance it was sooo nice , the lyrics, the meaning, Hobi's vocals and the choir. Hobi's mom who was in the crowd cried. With regards to leaving, Hobi was not getting fired, he felt that they were moving slow, he was having doubts on his future, being in a small company etc.
