There are other K-pop artists who are more open and show themselves to their audiences now… because of BTS. BTS were the first to let their fans in and experience the highs & lows right along with them. BTS set the new standard. I will say though, that not all artists are as sincere & “real” as they try to be. You can see it if you really are tuned in. But at least those artists are putting forth the effort. It gives something back to their fans. BTS - Paved the Way! 💜 🌟

Like you guys said, it's hard to find an artist that has so much PERSONAL content and is so open about their feelings and emotions really creates a bond that fans survive off of. The most beautiful moment in life pt 1 & 2 really are very important albums to who I am as a person along with how i had been emotionally challenged and validated by bts and their message.

Namjoon speaks the most beautiful words I've ever heard. And Jimin loves Nevermind so much he literally got a tattoo of it. Engraved it on his chest, just as the lyrics say. Similarly he has often talked about how much he loves Young Forever and got tattoos of that song too. This ep was very deep and emotional. When I see them cry, I can’t help but cry too

And not just Easter eggs—there are hints for upcoming songs and projects, and the songs, MVs, and lyrics are all part of a whole fictional storyline that The Most Beautiful Moment in Life era (I Need U, Butterfly, Run, Fire, Save Me, I’m Fine—just to name a few) was based on. The coolest part? You don’t even need to know the storyline to enjoy or relate to the songs! Even here in the US, they talk about being on top and the struggle in a way, but not really show you them actually being vulnerable. So with BTS we see the struggle, heartache, tears and being pushed back down and there is no one on this planet that doesn't know how that feels to be underestimated and looked over. So when we see them shine and win, it's a win for the underdog. And everyone loves an Underdog.

2025-03-29 22:30:28 +0000 UTCSuga came from a humble background and his parents didn't approve of him wanting a career in music, as it was not a safe path and they felt he can't afford that. He took the risk against their opinion, and he had a lot of pressure because of that. The day he bowed and cried was because it was "parents day" in South Korea, and his parents were able to make it to the concert (it was their first tour ever), and he saw them in the crowd. He must have felt that he finally proved he didn't go against their wish for nothing, and that they must finally be proud of his choice. They all had so many challenges, some of those you will see in this series, but it was much more that they went through, so what they accomplished is honestly the greatest underdog story of all time to me. Plus them being such good people and letting fans in, being vulnerable and honest made the dinamic between army and bts so special, and they know that connection was a key factor to their amazing succes. They are very very smart guys and such good role models for many people.

It‘s a fictional storyline that runs through their discography and there are MV’s that are included in the storyline. In 2024 a kdrama (Begins Youth) about the hyyh era was released. May I please recommend you to watch the boys' The Red Bullet Tour before watching another BTS Concert because you will see that even if this was the boys' first concert tour, you will be amazed at how professional, amazing artists they are and at such a young age. This tour is classic and all the Army I believe should watch.This tour which went from 2014-2015. was to promote their 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013) debut single album, O!RUL8,2 (2013) EP, Skool Luv Affair (2014) EP and Dark & Wild (2014) studio album. These albums have amazing songs that even up to now, they continue to sing.

Both of their families are incredibly proud of them and support them🥹 Some recent examples I can think of are Hobi’s sister joining him on the show I Live Alone, and Jin’s brother and sister-in-law posting a picture dressed head to toe in Alo (Jin’s a brand ambassador) All of their families are really supportive of each member in the group, and the families have also become friends. We know that Jin’s and RM’s families get together, Suga’s dad has an adorable nickname for Jungkook, etc.

Esp during their concerts in Korea where they speak their language. They always speak honestly from the bottom of their hearts, and it's always touching and it's where you'd know their personalities. Hobi, Chim, JK are ones who aren't embarrassed to be emotional. Jin is one who's never afraid to speak of the truth even if it'll create an issue. Tae usually couldn't deliver or express himself so he ends up just being cute. Yoongi is always giving a brotherly message and Namjoon is always poetic and full of wisdom. Also, if Bang PD speaks in this series, hope you pay attention bcos it's always full of facts and realization of BTS' journey.

But in short - everything in BTS contents have meaning, usually double and triple meanings. I'll give one example from a clip you've already seen - Jin's 'Running Wild'. In my opinion, and there are probably a million other interpretations, the song's lyrics are dedicated to his bandmates, asking them that even when they're far apart, they shouldn't let their love "go cold". He promises them that when they're back together, they'll run together and reach places they haven't reached before. The visual part of the clip clearly references other clips of theirs: 1. 'LIGHTS' (which you haven't reacted to yet) - a song about their friendship and love for each other and how they move forward together, serving as each other's light. The clip is mostly filmed in a movie theater, and Jin's scene in the movie theater is very similar to it. 2. 'STAY GOLD' (which you also haven't gotten to yet) - a song with a very similar meaning to Jin's. Even when things seem bad, or the world is ending, you can still find the good and enjoy it, to stay gold. The visuals of the clip, with the dog and the vibrant, bright color palette, also contribute to this. 3. RM's 'Wild Flower' (which you reacted to but without subtitles) - there are parallel/contrasting scenes in their visuals or camera angles, especially the dry field where he's filmed, as opposed to RM's purple flower field. 4. Jin's own 'The Astronaut' - all the sets in the clip are very reminiscent of those in 'The Astronaut'. This is just what comes to mind from a few minutes of thought. I'd probably find a million other references if I went to watch the clip now and examined it more slowly.

Because it is about preparing us for Chapter 2 (post military and regroup comeback!!) It is crazy disheartening when a channel see's Yet to Come MV and gets NONE of it! You guys would especially struggle because you haven't seen A LOT of the older MV's and are unaware of the storyline/theme's. The "Yet to Come" FREE concert they held for us before the disbanding (?1) stage was FULL of all the old important moments, Swing from Spring Day, the bus/train from Spring Day, the big thing Jin kissed in Blood, sweat and tears, Yoongi's Piano, and MORE! Try to watch more of the older video's and then watch "Yet to Come" MV- you'll get it, i think!
