Everything about this performance just draws you in: the vibe, the visuals, the location, the vocals--all of it just hooks you and you're mesmerized by it. You hear the harmonies so clearly, and it just puts a smile on your face as you listen. I also love how the rap line's vocals shine in this performance. They sound so damn good and it shows people just how underrated their vocals are because usually everyone's always focused on their rapping.

I have been a BTS fan since 2013 and I do believe that this is the peak of their fame at the moment even though this is not the peak of their activity. I pretty much always talk about BTS in my personal life and in the past few years more of the general public know who I'm talking about than before. they're very inactive right now due to some of the members being in the army but Jin and J-Hope have been released so they are currently promoting for the group until the rest of them come out. I actually just saw j hope on tour, BARELY SURVIVED. Most likely they will do a world tour a few months after everyone gets out so they can rest and get everything together but honestly knowing BTS is probably fully planned by now 😂

In my personal opinion, Proof, and in particular, this Live Show you guys reacted to, is as it says: Proof. A proof of their grit, perseverance, hardwork and dedication, literal blood, sweat and tears in being more and more of who they are and what they are capable of when great talents team up, and work together, sharpening each other, and look beyond currect challenges and setbacks. BTS decided to time their breaks and pause when they were at the top dueing that season. And that shows wisdom as well. Allowing themselves space to explore more of who they are putside the group with their solo albums is also another wise and smart decision, if not strategic. Even during their breaks and military service periods, they are still setting records and winning awards. And that is because they pay it forward with sincerity and authenticity, all coming from humble hearts who continues to learn and breaking ceilings in doing so. I am excited about their full comeback after the service. A new season a new beginning to dream, and hope and going forward. That what BTS, and ARMY, are all all about. honestly don’t know if they’re the biggest they’ve been at the moment just bc of their enlistments. I do think however that once they come back & they’re all together again as bts & do a world tour is when they will soar even higher than they’ve ever done before. AWWW fellow army, I know we all love BTS intensely, but we need to be more graceful to reactors, newer fans alike, they will not watch or recognise everything with the same detail and intensity, but BTS needs all types of fans and making casual fans feel welcome is part of it, and I think they are already more focused than some casual fans, and we need to be okay with thosekind of reactors too, also I think a lot of ARMY do need something fun and non serious as a space to enjoy BTS too. If you loved the first song, I really recommend seeing Born Singer live! There are a few videos, but I highly suggest watching the 2015 live because it shows the intensity of what they were enduring at that time, and you see the passion and belief in what they wrote. The live performances in later years are definitely great, but I like this performance, because I feel like I'm getting the raw emotion of what they were feeling at that time early in their career. Oh man, this performance is such a gem and brings back vivid memories. I was a 3 month Baby Army when this aired and was SO excited for more, lol! Then they broke news of their solo chapter/hiatus from group activities this same month at FESTA 2022, announced their military enlistment 4 months later and Jin was the first to go two months after that. 2022 was a rough one for ARMY, y’all 😂 I highly, highly recommend watching their FESTA 2022. Warning: it’s very emotional and hard to watch. I watched it when it aired and will not watch it again but it’s such an incredibly important milestone in their history. Fantastic reaction, guys, enjoyed this one very much!!

This is performance was around the time that BTS announced they were going solo and enlisting in the military. and they cried saying this at the 2022 festa dinner. Before that we didn’t know when they would enlist in the army, because Korea has a flexible system. They had to go into service until they were 30 years old. But they are all different ages. And in the Korean government at that time there were discussions about the release of BTS from the army for merit. There was little hope for this, but there was some. Everything led to the fact that BTS decided to announce solo activities, did what they wanted - everyone released albums, music videos for two years, even when they were already in the army.. Hobie was the first to release the album Jack in the Box. About five month safter the 2022 festa, they gathered for a free concert in Busan, you saw some parts. This is where it says flat earth on Suga's T-shirt. Jin had just released the single Astronaut and performed a cold play in Argentina. And Jin went into the army at the end of 2022. Then Hobi left at the beginning of 2023. Suga gives a grand tour d-day in spring and summer 2023. then Taehyung and Namjoon left and a day later Jimin and Jungkook at the end of 2023. Thus, they will soon be together and our separation from them will be minimal - 3 years. If they all decided to enlist in the army when they turned 30, we wouldn't see them together for at least 5 years. But the younger members decided to join the army at the peak of their careers; they did not yet have to go, unlike the older ones. But they prefer BTS

Maybe I really did came for them too strong. I just realized while rereading my post. But for me it was accumulated small things that (I’m sorry to say this) made me a bit of annoyed which I did tolerate coz its not too much of a deal. Maybe because these songs and performance is precious to me that I had this outburst coz from my perspective not all of them gives the level attention that I deem as properly watching the content in front of them. so in regards to this live performance.... after covid lockdown and restrictions were lifted somewhat, BTS did the Permission To Dance (PTD) tour in Seoul, Los Angeles and Las Vegas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permission_to_Dance_on_Stage). While in America they recorded this Live. Anderson Paak has done other work with them, he collaborated on one of RM's tracks on the album Indigo. If you watch the doco for Suga's D-Day tour as well, Suga went to Anderson's house and hung out with him, it's pretty funny actually. In the same doco, he also goes to Halsey's house and hangs out with her. Oh, and also Steve Aoki's place.

im commenting alot sorry lmaoo but i also want to point out that dynamite and butter are huge releases that blew them up HOWEVER it is not an accurate representation of bts' musicality. before these two English singles, bts were known for their concepts that touched on social issues and deep topics (HYYH trilogy, Wings, etc..) which was not normalized in K-pop at all. the music and concepts resonated so deeply with people which helped gain them the dedicated fanbase they have today. with that being said, pls give these songs a chance since you haven't touched on them yet.

This was released with details of the Proof album & then they recorded their Festa 2022 telling ARMY that they were taking a break is was an emotional rollercoaster. It’s really worth a watch as RM talks about the way he feels as what’s it like to be in the group. They have all released their solo stuff so when they are all out hopefully it will be a lot of group projects. You need to become Weaverse members which is free but also one of you needs to buy an ARMY membership so you will see a lot of stuff days after the release because it will be their 12th Festa the day after release.

Yet to Come and For Youth are really important songs to ARMY because it was BTS’s final “goodbye” to us before leaving for service. I think if you do react to things from the Proof era, it’s important to know a little bit more about the timing of the given video in relation to them leaving. For example, the Yet to Come concert in Busan is their last performance as BTS before leaving. Also, I echo what some other people have commented about taking more time with the lyrics. Especially with these songs that hold so much importance! For Youth is BTS’s way of telling ARMY that they’re not going anywhere, and they’ll be back after service. Besties for life ♥️

This video was shot in Las Vegas in April 2022 when BTS went to LV to hold 4 sold out concerts. BTS stayed in LV for a week, the longest that BTS has stayed in one p​lace. And in June 2022, BTS announced in their Festa Live that the group is going on hiatus in order to serve in the military. Their last concert was their free Yet To Come in Busan in October 2022 after which Jin enlisted in the Military. It doesn't really seem that long ago because here we are now, only 110 days before all the boys are together again. A side note: BTS' original plan was to hold their Map Of The Soul concert tour originall slated to start in April 2020, and after which, the boys were going to enlist in the military. But Covid happened so everything was put on hold. And during the pandemic, they released their full Englis songs Dynamite, Butter and Permission To Dance. BTS continued to keep connected with Army by holding online concerts, Tiny Desk, MTV Live performances, gave Army two seasons of In The Soop. So yes, Army was so very blessed that BTS was thinking of Army during this most difficult and challenging time. Just some interesting information about BTS' Permission To Dance concert in Las Vegas: During BTS' stay in LV, the city went purple, including all the hotels on the Strip, during the week of the concert. It was a very exciting and fun time not only for the tourists but for the residents of Las Vegas. The 4 sold out concerts were attended by 624,000 people and generated $35.9Million revenue for the city of Las Vegas. It was actually interesting to note that after the successful LV concert, other big cities in the US and Europe such as Paris posted on its social media invites for BTS to hold their concert in their city. And can you blame them? They know how much revenue their city will earn when BTS performs in their city because it brings Army from all over the world to attend the concert.

In my opinion, even when someone is enjoying any kind of content people don't have the same amount of attention span. It is only a few months in their journey so I understand if they are not used to yet able to catch everything in the first time around especially since rap/hip hop may not be their goto. Our 7 sing and rap in their own rhythms. Since BTS has roots in hiphop the singing even has its own pace at timee with hip hop at times. (Hope I made sense there) if you are used to that pace I find it it easier to follow how fast the lyrics are but not easy on everyone. There are a few songs I worry about them reacting to since I hold them dear to me and I would not be alive wrutibg this without those songs. I do feel that they are sincere.

I'd like to set the stage a little for this performance for ya'll because you are clearly picking up on the significance of it, but since you weren't around at the time you can't know all of the details. This was filmed around April 2022 in Las Vegas and then released on July 13, 2022 for FESTA and the release of their anthology album "Proof" which they talked about during this performance. While they had just released "Map of the Soul: Seven" and had started the promo for "On' in 2020 this is when Covid-19 hit. They had a Map of the Soul World Tour already sold out and were getting ready to embark on that at this time. When the shows first started getting postponed they thought that they would still get to do the tour because no one knew how long Covid would actually be impactful. Their original plans were to enlist in the military after the tour. But this all changed. So they eventually had to cancel the tour, and they were all devastated. During Covid, BTS is actually well known for being artists who really worked hard to find unique ways to stay connected to their fans with lives, and then putting on some record breaking streaming concerts. Flash forward to 2021 when the US was finally reopening and they were allowing concerts again and BTS took full advantage of this because THEY knew that their military service was coming quickly especially for Jin. So they out of their norm and performed the PTD concerts in LA first (they ALWAYS start their concert tours in Seoul, but they coudln't at this time because Seoul was not allowing this yet). RM explains later that their PTD concert was originally only supposed to be the 4 concerts in LA, but this turned rather quickly into a 12 concert tour with 3 more in Seoul (to an audience that could not cheer, or clap, or even stand) and then 4 more days in Las Vegas. plus the online streaming version they did first in Oct. 21. So this Yet to Come live performance that they filmed from Las Vegas, was fresh off of their amazing Grammy performance and they were in the middle of their 4 days at Allegiant Stadium performance. They spend like 3 weeks or 4 in Las Vegas and they got to see the Silk Sonic concerts and Hobi went to a Lady Gaga performance, and they went to others as well. But the significance here is that they knew that this was it. These concerts were going to be their last as a group because Jin was planning to enlist during the summer of 2022. You can feel that nostalgia during the moments that they are talking here. But there is also a certain feeling that ARMYs now realize was stemming from their knowledge that this was before a long break as a team. You guys talked through some of these explanations, but their thought process behind the "Proof" anthology was to give people who may be first hearing about BTS as they had just blown up from their Dynamite, Butter, and Permisison to Dance songs and so since it had been 10 years since their debut they thought, people who are just getting to know us, trying to listen to all of their music can be daunting (as you guys are experiencing) so lets give people this album which includes all of the title tracks from their albums on disc 1, and then disc 2 was 2 songs picked by each member that had significance to them, kind of to share a piece of themselves with everyone, and then disc 3 which is not available on streaming services and only on the physical album was for ARMYs and included some demo tracks and special performance tracks as well as "For Youth". Again at this time they had NOT announced they were enlisting yet. Now most ARMYs knew this was coming soon because of Jin's age, but we still didn't know for sure and there was a lot of talk of the possibility of them getting exempted. But they knew and I believe that is so clearly seen through these performances in 2022 - all of them. So this was released during FESTA, but at the end of FESTA is when they released the FESTA dinner that was very traumatic for many ARMYs because that was when they did announce their stepping away from group activities for awhile. Again they had not announced the military enlistment yet. There are some music performances they did right around this time and I swear you can see in all of their faces them just taking in the crowd knowing that this was it. You should watch these because I'm not kidding you can see it on all of their faces. At some point they were convinced to do the Yet to Come concert in Busan in October 2022, so while these performance they originally thought would be their last, it was the Yet to Come concert that actually was their last group performance. I do believe that they really just wanted to perform more and also I believe they really wanted their last performance to be in their home and not to say they didn't love their Vegas performances, but it is tradition for them to perform at home for their first and last concerts, so I do think some of their reasons for agreeing tot he Yet to Come concert in October was so they could have that final performance at home. So, Jin postponed enlisting until December. So, as you will see during all of these performances this last year knowing what was in their future and also knowing that this was coming off of Covid and two years of not being able to perform live and cancelling of an entire tour, why all of these performances watched in hindsight really hit our hearts deeply. You will see this when you eventually get to the "Yet to Come" concert - when they perform "For Youth" oh it just breaks my heart watching them watch us and imagining how they must have felt. They literally dropped the announcement of their impending enlistment into the military the day after the "Yet to Come" concert. They all knew during that entire concert how ARMYs would be feeling the next day and you can see it in their faces. They said they didn't announce it before because they didn't want ARMY to be sad, knowing this was the last for another 3 years. They wanted ARMYs to be happy during the concert. They truly love us. So for this performance they sang - "Born Singer" a song released on Soundcloud and YouTube on July 12, 2013, a song that was extremely special to them talking about their feelings about debuting and their dreams and struggles. Then they sang, "Yet to Come" the title track for "Proof" a song about reminiscing about these past 10 years and saying, we're not done - our best is "Yet to Come". A message to ARMYs to stay tuned - they may be gone for awhile (we didn't know this at the time but they did) but they will be back STRONGER than ever. And then the final song, "For Youth" a song for ARMYs and their families and their staffs to celebrate everything they've been though the past 10 years and express their gratitude and love for all of the people who have been with them and stuck by them. I'm so sorry I always have so much to say. I honestly don't even know if anyone reads these - hehehehe - but it doesn't matter cuz I swear I could talk about BTS all day. Borahae!!!! I honestly think you are being too intense with this, new fans honestly are like this, yeah they are reactors, but I want them to be reactors and actual fans than just react very critically. So I think its a process of them becoming fans of everyone. And even if I am a V bias, I think JK really killed it this time with the adlibs in some moments, and while Jimin is great, he didn't have quite his moments to shine apart from a few parts, Jin too, but this is my view on it, I am sure some other army would look at this performance in different light. Rapper line killed it in Born Singer and yet to come. I have adhd so my attention span is crazy too, I see myself when I just got into BTS. But I had the privilege of going back and replaying stuff again, which as reactors, tough to do. So I wouldn't hold it against them, and I don't think its shallow praises. I felt every emotion when they were reacting too regardless of their own reactions.

Just a bit of criticism... my observation sometimes is that it feels like your not interested to what you're watching at all, a reactor who respects what they are reacting to would give sincere attention to the video and would react based on that, not some random comment w/ trivial relevance at hand while abruptly pausing the video or talking over it. Does the comments that says you are overly praising one member affected you that much that now you are trying to react at every little thing? we don't need shallow praises, I would choose a reactor who talks less but sincerely gives attention to what they are watching over a reactor who's loud but doesn't add any value/insightful comment and is plainly disrespectful by not sincerely paying attention to what they are supposed to react to. There's this another hiphop and BTS reactor and also a rapper/musician who rarely comes across a BTS song that he jives with. He's brutally honest about what he likes and dislikes but he never comes across as disrespectful coz he's sincerely paying attention and gives comments to what he watches, he doesn't seek to earn the favour of his audience by giving them what they wanna hear that he doesn't really mean. I wished there are other reactors like him. Altho he doesn't have much subscribers and not so much comments under his vids, the comment section was insightful and with wholesome exchange with the reactor. What's the use of having so many comments under a video if its just all spams, well maybe reactors would like that for engagement/monetary boosts, huh. Reactors who sucks up to the demands of those nasty solo stans (esp those maknae line stans) just proves that your motives are primarily views/engagements. Altho while its not wrong to have views as motive, sacrificing your sincerity towards the content you're reacting to is foul considering that "content" is the lifeblood of a reaction channel.

Well JK is the main singer of the group, so he is the one who harmonizes the songs. In fact, A.Paak's wife is Korean, so he knows a few words in Korean. i think BTS had a peak in 2021 and also in 2018 but 2021 was their biggest they bagged 6 nr 1 hit on hot 100. but now that it has been more solo focused idk about BTS itself. i know many fans have come into the fandom in 2022 and after that and some came as a soloist and others turned into true army´s. i would say Jimin and JK has gained more solo stans in this periode they also scored a nr 1 hit each so it speak to their individual fandom but idk if those fans will stream BTS as much as they did with their solo idol if you know what i mean. but i do think they will attend BTS concert because they get to se their fave. but album sales i am also unsure of we will have to wait and se. but army is still very big but id think they are bigger as a group now than 2021 it is hard to tell actually.

suga is actually really good at singing and he also play instruments you should watch his solo tour it was insane, he played guitar sang and played piano and electric guitar too. he didn´t dance however but the backup dancers did and it was electric. he even cried during his last 3 songs on the final day. those songs really mean a lot to him. and just watching him break down and army took over and sang for him was just amazing to watch.

I agree with people saying you should pause when you want to talk as to not talk over the video cuz you do tend to miss a lot (and maybe save the off-topic conversations for the end lol), but I wish you guys would may more attention to the lyrics :,) maybe you guys should start reacting to lyric videos of songs first and then watch the live performance or MV for the song so that you can vibe out more without have to pay attention to the lyrics during the video, but also know what the lyrics are so you know what the song means :) A big portion of why BTS is so loved is that their lyrics are very important and powerful and by not paying them much attention, I feel like you're missing out but thats just me 🫣

I loved this reaction guys! This is one of my favorite BTS performances because of the quality of the live performance. The band was incredible, the voice, the rap... 🔥🔥 And the song For Youth, OMG, I love that song. One of my favorites from BTS. BTS is at their highest moment of popularity even while they’re in military service because the expectation is maximum. We are all waiting for June to arrive and for the five members who are still in military service to leave. It's going to be incredible. ARMY has grown a lot in recent years also due to the members' solo music, which has attracted new audiences to the fandom. So they are at their highest peak of popularity. Well he has really been getting on my nerves recently. His attention span is so short. And his comments are as you say, "insensitive" of other people's feelings. That comment about the lyrics just hit my last nerve. You know how we get sensitive about that kind of topic. And he seems to always start off topic discussions. But anyways, Ive unsubscribed coz every single video I watch especially recently has lots of banters. Im good with the reaction channel Ive been subscribed to since 2019. The reactors are more professional and they have a calendar so I always know what to expect for the whole month. But to be fair these guys did improve a little. So far the only things that bother me now are the banters, short attention span, and careless comments. Oh and even if Seb had been getting to my nerves lately, I still dont get why Charlie hates it so much when he sneezes. As if you can actually control it that much. His bias V sneezes more loudly than Seb. Let's just ser if he'd also be that super annoyed at V as he is with Seb when he hears our adorable V sneezing so loud. So far Ben's the only who doesn't get in my nerves but anyway, I am still thankful for the love they give to BTS. Im sure they will all grow and improve more in the future.

Lol If you think V is looking different here, you're in for a surprise to see how he looks now in military. My man is the only member who got in Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps (SDT) which is considered one of the hardest. As much as we know he got promoted to a sergeant and is a certified sniper and has learned all the skills needed to defend the capital (helicopter drops, scaling walls, and hand to hand combat ect..). He's been dropping some vids of him dancing and photos showing how buff he became. I really can't wait for the boys to come back together :')

Just want to mention as a funfact, Namjoon actually changed some of the phrases in his part on Born Singer. But my favorite is how in this performance, he said "Hey, man what's your dream? Mine's simply to become me, can't you feel?" from the original lyric of "mine is to become a rap star" :') it's such a simple change lyric-wise, but as a fan, as someone who had seen his struggle and hard work throughout the years, we know that he's alr a rap star and his wish is simply to stay true to himself, his root, his passion, his morals, his ethic, etc. As what makes Namjoon—Namjoon. And that really encapsulated what kind of person Namjoon is as a person. He's truly incredible ❤
