Suga worked as delivery guy before and had a bad accident that hurt his shoulder. He has been struggling with it for a very long time but he still do all the hard choreography and BTS choreo are super hard. So during COVID hiatus he did the surgery to fix that. It was also due to the shoulder injury, Suga is doing social service now and his term is slightly longer than all other members. He will be the last one to complete the military enlistment on 21st June. BTW, if u watch any live performance of BTS when one member is missing, they will ALWAYS make space for the missing member.

In JM's clip thanking the members, if you noticed, he called the members older than him with the honorific word 'hyung'. And when he addressed Taehyung-gi and Jungkook-gi, 'gi' at the end is an affectionate word like 'baby' addressed to someone younger. The scenes that you watched of the members were primarily from their Bon Voyage Travel Reality show which have 4 seasons. Bon Voyage Season 3 was filmed in the beautiful country of Malta. " The success of the BTS' solo career has been absolute gold to lots of us, especially if you adore one or two particular members over the others, but choosing to ignore their asking to love them as one is another story. Suga when he was a trainee for BTS, he worked as a delivery man in his free time and had an accident which injured his shoulder, he hid it for a while out of fear of being kicked out of training, but that affected him a lot (pain) and he had to tell the truth, and although they helped him with some therapies, for his condition he needed surgery, but that meant retiring from performances for a while and he never found the time until the pandemic arrived and he took advantage of that time to finally be able to perform the surgery, after almost 10 years where he was in so much pain he was finally able to free himself from it. In his MV Amygdala you can reflect a little of what he experienced 🥹💜

Remember the amygdala video when suga was hit while driving a delivery motorcycle? That's the reason why he had to go surgery. Because when they were still trainees, suga used to sneak to do delivery jobs in order to earn extra money considering that big hit entertainment that time is at the brink of bankruptcy. When he had the accident, he did not tell the company in order not to be kicked out. His injury got even worse because just look at their choreography, it would also break my bones even though i have no existing injury. How much more with suga.

You guys bicker at each other is a comedy in itself. Its very entertaining. About Suga, he had major shoulder surgery toward the end of 2020. He was gone a total of approximately 3 Months. So at the end of 2020 where most of Asian Xmas Shows were broadcasted and Award Shows, Suga wasnt there. So you will see BTSs performances during this time with an empty spot (Sugas Spot) and them mentioning Suga in their Thank You speeches when receiving an award. @Charlie, the segment where you were wondering how they did that thing with Suga, it was a Hologram. They taped Suga in a green room walking on a treadmill. It was a first for the entertainment industry (meaning the work around it) and it cost quite a buck. Them respecting and brotherly loving each other so dearly is the result of having lived together for at least 13 years. I cant really describe it, but the longer you follow them, the often you watch their performances together, the moment you look at them and if one is missing, you will notice it immediately and following that, you start to miss the person and you will kinda feel the same way how they feel when a member is missing. You can tell, by watching their solo documentaries. When they have solo performances, the one thing each of them will mention (before or after a performance) how they miss their team members. Which is not unusual, when you constantly perform together and you are taken out of this known environment, its like missing a limb of your body. The segment about Bang Si-hyuk, that clips you saw of the guys was the time where Jin and V had a conflict and RM being the mediator. It was about some steps in the performance on stage. It was right before going on stage and for V it was so intense that he started crying and RM consoling him. Later you will see the Team talking about issues and Jin & V talking it out. That moment reflects that they all solve conflicts right there and then. Even though only 2 of them might have an issue, its being discussed as a team. That's what they also say in interviews. issues are being discussed and resolved right there and then. Which is the best way to resolve conflicts and prevents from escalations. And another reason to love the guys even more.

Okay REALLY long comment incoming my apologies lol So I'm sure other people have spoken about this but yoongi (suga) has had multiple surgeries. The one this video mainly focused on and the biggest one was his shoulder surgery that he got at the end of 2020. Before he debuted he got into a bad car accident whilst working his food delivery job, he crashes his moped (I believe it was a moped? Some sort of bike) into a car and it was really bad, that's why the car crash is such a big motif in his music video for AMYGDALA. He's spoken about it mainly in their docuseries Burn The Stage but has mentioned it in other content as well as in some of his songs. He said when he opened his eyes the car wheel was literally right next to his face, really scary stuff. In the crash he badly injured his shoulder but what arguably made the injury worse is that he was scared to tell bighit (their company) as he was afraid they would let him go. So he went back to normal practice and hid it, I believe he told the members he'd got a bit hurt falling down the stairs or something? Eventually he told the truth of course and the company offered to cover his schooling fees and such, obviously they didn't let him go or anything. This means that for their whole career until around November of 2020 he was dealing with chronic pain and issues from this shoulder injury. He used to get regular injections for it and everything (mainly pain relief I think? Could've been some sort of steroid too). You can actually see in some old clips of concerts and performances that he's struggling with pain in his shoulder and it restricts him from doing some moves and such. I believe he decided to get the surgery at the end of 2020 because it seemed like they wouldn't be able to tour or anything like that any time soon so it was the best time to do it because he knew he would need a lot of time off due to the recovery, rehabilitation process etc. He did a livestream for us before the surgery and then a few after where he's in a sling. The scar isn't very big but there's some clips/pics where you can see it. All the members have matching '7' tattoos and his tat is on his shoulder by his scar 🥲 It's very sweet actually, in content after his surgery you can see the members being really careful about his shoulder and reminding others to be careful when rough housing with him and such. I think seb said it seems like yoongi really went through it and that's the understatement of the year unfortunately :( Yoongi has been through a lot both physical and mental health wise. Like you saw he also had the ear surgery and then he also had a surgery in 2014 for appendicitis (and then had to go back not long after because the wound got inflamed I believe). There's also other instances of sickness and injury that I can't quite remember full details of right now. Aside from that, he's had a lot of mental health struggles which he is very open about but mainly talks about it in his music (songs such as The Last, AMYGDALA, Set Me Free and many many more, it's a big motif for his music). He's spoken about his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts/self harm, he mentioned in a song a struggle with OCD, he casually mentioned having ADHD and another big one he's spoken about is anxiety/ social anxiety. It's very sad actually, prior to one of their concerts back in the day he had a panic attack of sorts in the bathroom and couldn't get himself to go on stage (he mentions this specific incident in songs) and he felt awful for it. I have memory issues so I may be getting this mixed up but back in the day they also had a concert in kobe that got cut short and cancelled due to V & Suga having bad dizziness. It was a really sad time for army's and bts alike. I personally think THAT was the concert where yoongi actually had the panic attack but again my memory may be mixing that up.
