AC Vision Reality 1.4.5 and Reshade preset release

Hi all,

A new Vision Reality update for Pure Gamma, this time featuring my optional Reshade preset. The Reshade preset contains my settings for Pascal Gilcher's new "iMMERSE Pro: RTGI 1.0" and other shader effects but to have the RTGI shader you must subscribe to his Patreon.

Note: If you don't have the RTGI shader, the other shaders will still be enabled.

Attention RTGI consumes a lot of resources.

What you will need:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Optional:

Xbox 360 controller settings

Advanced Gamepad Assist Settings

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Installation:

For people who are just starting Assetto Corsa with mods I recommend this tutorial which explains to you how to install "Content Manager" "CSP" and "Pure"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22CbO5ISEGc

For people who want to install Reshade and my Preset, scroll down to the "Reshade and preset installation" section.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The installation of Vision Reality remains unchanged. I give you my previous screenshots.

Copy the two folders "extension" and "system" found in AC Vision Reality 1.4.5.zip/rar to the root of the Assetto Corsa folder then launch Content Manager and follow the steps in numerical order as on the screen.

Note: Do not drag the .zip/.rar into Content Manager, install the ppfilter manually.

1 - Configure CSP in Content Manager

2 - Select AC Vision Reality 1.4.5 in Content Manager

____________________________________________________________

In-game configuration 1:

Open "Pure PP" and verify that the settings have been loaded correctly

If loaded correctly you should have this in the "Light" tab

If is not, click on "IMPORT" then load the "AC Vision Reality 1.4.5" file located in: X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config-ext\Pure\AC Vision Reality 1.4.5

____________________________________________________________

In-game configuration 2:

In game make sure the exposure is 100%

Then i strongly recommend that you open "Pure PP" -> "General" tab and try to change the color temperature values then the saturation because it also depends on the configuration of your screen and it can change a lot. My settings were made on a 4k QLed TV.

Example: screenshot 6500k temperature (default)

Screenshot 5500k temperature

Screenshot 7500k temperature

The auto-exposure may not load correctly, you just have to check "VAO Adaption" “AE + CBE” and put “4.000" in Target” and “0.875" in Mix” then save.

Optional: Neck FX and helmet

Be careful, only apply my Neck FX parameters after installing the AC head-physics mod and above all make a backup of your parameters before any changes

Reshade and preset installation: To be installed once "Content Manager" "CSP" and "Pure" are installed

1- Click on "Reshade_Setup_6.5.1"

2- Click on "Browse"

3- Search and select "acs" in X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa

4- Click on "Next"

5- Select "DirectX 10/11/12 then "Next"

6- Click on "Browse"

7- Select "AC Vision Reality preset" which is in "AC Vision Reality 1.4.5.zip/.rar" and you can put it in the root of the game "Assetto Corsa"

8- Reshade will automatically download and select the shaders I have enabled in the preset then click "Next"

9- Then "Finish"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enable Reshade in-game

1- If the installation went well you should see a Reshade pop up when you launch the game

2- Once the game loads, press the "Home" key on your keyboard and you should see this then click on "skip tutorial"

3- You must have these shaders enabled automatically

without RTGI with RTGI

4- Press "Esc" to close Reshade and you are ready to play.

Note: I recommend you change the key that opens the Reshade menu because the default one ("Home") also opens the game's "console" menu.

To change the Reshade menu key, do the following:

1- Open Reshade with the "Home" key and then go to the "Settings" tab

To improve performance with the RTGI shader, I advise you to add this command in Reshade:

in the first box: _MARTYSMODS_TAAU_SCALE

in the second box: DLSS_PERFORMANCE

Enjoy !!

Hi, Can you please post a screenshot on this site and send me the link in a private message: https://www.noelshack.com/ Take a screenshot of the "Pure Config" and "Reshade" menus like this one: https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2025/40/3/1759354236-ac-screen.jpg

Hello, I hope you can help me please! My game doesn’t look like in the videos, I followed every step by step and I don’t know what else to do. I bought RTGI. My game looks much darker with the settings I copied, it keeps flickering as if it were pulsing, getting brighter and then darker again, and when I enable ReShade the colors keep changing. It doesn’t look anything like what was shown in the video! Sorry for the trouble.

Hi, Take screenshots of your game with the "Pure Config" menu -> "Light" tab and Reshade if you're using it so I can see what's wrong. You can host them on this site and send me the link in a private message, please. https://www.noelshack.com/

MCG

I did all the thing but my game is very classic.. I don't know why but it's not like the video's... Hope it's my fault and i didn't pay for this...

FervidPrism1988

open Reshade -> you should have the blue banner that separates the shaders and the shader options, click on the banner as I show on the screen then click on the "+" and copy the command "_MARTYSMODS_TAAU_SCALE" then "DLSS_PERFORMANCE" and click on "apply". Be careful this is only useful if you activate "IMMERSE Launchpad" and "IMMERSE_RTGI" otherwise it does not change anything

MCG

Hi, I don't know how you activate DLSS. That option doesn't appear for me. I have the RTGI

El mapache negro 99 ™

I'm fine for now, thank you. Normally if you paid for the "tier "Ray Tracer" you should have a folder "iMMERSE Pro_2506.rar" once unzipped you have 2 folders "Shaders" and "Textures" and you must copy these 2 folders into the folder "reshade-shaders" and normally when you open Reshade you should have several shaders "IMMERSE:" including IMMERSE: Launchpad" and "IMMERSE PRO: RTGI" look carefully in the list of available shaders when you open Reshade.

MCG

Hi hope you are well, I am working with your files but i have some issue with the ReShade, i don't find the RTGI Marty when i launch the game ? Pascal Gilcher as RayTracer but nothing appear did i miss something ? Do you know also what should i do to have a good DOF for my Cameras in Assetto Corsa ?

EnkeyDesign

In the "light" tab of "Pure Config" what value do you have in "Day Light Multiplier" normally it is 0.725 as on the screenshot. You don't have any values that are identical to the screen?

MCG

hi, thanks for your worrk, i have a problem, maybe you could fix it. when I go on PP config i see that script loaded : AC vision reality 1.4.5.lua and seeting loaded AC vision reality 1.4.5_scriptsettings.ini BUT when i check light on Pure config, they are not the same even if I import your config 10 times. plz need help

alex

Hi, it all depends on the resolution you play at and your CSP settings, but overall it will be the same.

MCG

hello, would the quality be the same if i put these filters (ppfilter and reshade) on a amd ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 5060ti 16gb? thanks

Francesco Filippo Madera

Thank you for your feedback and confirmation that it works in VR. You can decrease the light of flames in "Pure Config" "light" tab and reduce "CSP_lights_emissives"

MCG

Hi there, thx for your work. Enjoying it in VR. Need a few adjustments of Lights and effects but it looks so great! 1 question: the light effects of flames out of the exhaust of the car in front of me is way to much. Do you know how to reduce this?
