I'm sharing with you a tutorial that allows you to add VAO to tracks and cars that don't have it.
VAO simulates shadow and light effects for a more realistic rendering. Without VAO, the rendering appears duller.
Example with the "High Speed Ring circuit"
In the photos I have exaggerated the effect so that we can see the effect. We can decrease or increase the rendering values.

Example with the interior of a car
If you find that the interior of the car is bland and lacks depth, you can add VAO to it.
Be careful with the circuits because most have VAO, but some do not.

What do we need:
An Nvidia graphics card
NVIDIA OptiX tool
BLM Lights 1.16
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I - Installation
Download the Nvidia OptiX tool: https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-bakeryoptix

4 - Locate the "MODE_CAR" section then scroll down until you find "Post-processing"
then enter the values you want. The higher the values, the more pronounced the effect.
Here are the values I applied for the interior of the cars.
then a little further down you will find "Mode_Track" and the values I applied for the interior of the tracks.
Once you have entered your values, save and close the file.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
II - Creation of the VAO patch for tracks and cars

then open the folder of the track you want to apply the effect to then select the name of the track in .kn5 or .ini
then let the program finish its work
once it is finished you will get your ".vao-patch" and "compiled_trees.bin" files.
Now you must then create an "trees" folder in the "extension" folder if it is not already present in the track folder and then move the "compiled_trees.bin" file into the "extension\trees" folder.
Like this: \assettocorsa\content\tracks\highspeedring2\extension\trees
for cars you need to select the car name.KN5
example: ferrari_458_gt_pro.kn5
You can launch the game and check with BLM Lights if the VAO is enable for the track or car.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III - In-game VAO check
Download "BLM Lights": https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/blm-lights.22463/
Once installed, don't forget to activate it in Assetto Corsa Apps
In-game, open the "BLM Lights" app in the taskbar on the right side of the screen.
"BLM Lights" app
Your circuit has VAO if you see this
and don't have it if you see this
If you want to remove the VAO-patch, just select the files "highspeedring2.vao-patch" for the tracks or "main_geometry.vao-patch" for the cars and delete them.
There you go, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and it made the game a little more beautiful. Have fun!
