Amidst the pre-party and lyric posts I forgot to actually post the video itself! In case you haven't seen it, here it is!
Some fun facts about House of Mirrors:
- I got a lot of the imagery for these lyrics from a recurring nightmare I have had for years
- The location we are performing in is an incredible monastery in Poland from the 12th century. Apparently, Michael Jackson offered to buy it at one point and was denied.
- There were incredible paintings and sculptures all around us on the walls and ceilings which really highlights the "simulacra" lyric in the chorus. After the shoot, at night, Michael and I had to sneak back in there in the pitch black to make sure it was haunted and it didn't disappoint, it was terrifying! 🤣👻
