Progress update

Im going to make this a short update.

just want to say I am working on the project everyday.  I am making progress, not quite as much as I had hoped.. but I think I am too worried about the quality. (or maybe not).. I dont want to just toss a load of pics that dont really work in a badly written plot just to get something out quicker.. I am spending hours (and I mean hours) editing picture to try to set the scenes or hunting the web for the perfect picture of a certain NPC in the right pose. I am building up a really massive collection of material as I go that will make future events easier to do. As I find an interesting looking shoot with one of the NPCs Im then thinking how I could script that into an event in game.

My aim is still to release the next version for the weekend 15/16/17 of sept.  I might have to push back on some of the aims for this version if its looking too much. As I really dont want to leave it much longer than that since the last version.

Im really hoping that this update has at least a little something new for everyone :)

And again thank you all for your continued support..

I couldnt agree more with everything you have said there.. and its really great to have (and I have a few now) people who understand what this is about, where I am in that journey and where it is going and how long thats going to take.. And like you say, the grind is going to disappear with the more content.. I have made a few lower level quests now, that dont take much grind to complete, but at the same time, can boost the mc up a little.. Also with the new quest difficulty system, the player should be able to understand that if they really want to get on with a certain quest that might have a lot of grind.. Regarding the content, yes picked all of the original cast but looking at the size of content available. But also for some of the more minor cast, I wanted to appeal to kinks that the main cast maybe did not cover, so these while having lot less content, will tick some boxes.. What I have found difficult, alot of the women have content of them clothed before a set.. but the men dont seem to do that. That has made it harder to get stories built when 99% of a person content is them butt nekid! Also I have cast certain people as NPC only because of their interaction with others.. Because I have some amazing sets with crossovers that are going to be the pinicale of a quest.. Anyways thanks again for the comments .. and its always good to hear back from you (and others). I really hope that v0.3 when it comes out will show everyone again that progress in the right direction is being made :)

I think you are right about the timetable.. at the moment I am aiming for a monthly update at min.. But longer term I would like it to come down to a 2 to 3 week update. But maybe like you said, something a little smaller... The mistake I made after the first update was I started straight away working on the next. Then had to back track to fix bugs and minor complaints. Which then took be a bit of time to replicate in the then next version of the game as well as the patched current.. So this last update, I gave it about a week after the release to get patches and like out.. But that feels like its kinda a week lost. Hopefully if there are less bugs going forward. Then I can get onto the next version say 48hours after the release of a version. And then like you say, once its more about content and less about engine, its going to feel like a bigger uptdate but actually take me less time. Also at the moment I am still gathering a lot of resources, where as I am now building up a good stock for many of the charectors I have done bits with. I think also in time I am going to worn down by the lack of people spotting things that have taken me hours to do, and so I will probably spend less time on some of them things lol.. Also I hope to get better at storyboarding the quests, so when I stop mid quest on one version, I have a complete idea of where it is going for the next version and hopefully all the content ready to build that. Thanks as always for your comments, it really does help as it either reassures me what I am thinking is shared. or helps me to question something I am think and re-evaluate.

Just a heads up For a game like this monthly or weekly updates of whatever you have works best. Doesn’t need to be perfect just something so dont stress over perfection as thats an impossibility and alwase will be. As for right now i suggest monthly as your still working on the technical and most basic of activities but when you get into actual consistent character work weekly or by weekly would probably be easy. Both ways have a bit of sacrifice. Monthly has a polished update but less consistent interaction so you get less eyes on the game. While weekly and bi weekly are much less polished but are consistent and people will and can help you bug hunt or spruce up story details
