progress update
Added 2023-08-17 22:01:03 +0000 UTCSo its seems like each time I think I am going to make progress I get distracted and I end up no closer to a release ready version 0.2.
So as I said the other night I had 11 items I wanted to complete before release.
I have decided that 1 is not going to happen.. can be for a future release. So down to 10.
I have ticked off 2 items on the list.. so down to 8.
However I have spent a LARGE amount of time.. doing things that are not on the list. So tonight for instance I have added a full quest start to finish. For a NPC I had done virtually nothing with.
I think it add real value to the play and actually without giving away too much. It means that while you are grinding for other quests, you are also working towards this (or vise versa), and it puts some value in an mechanic of the game that did really have much purpose.
I have had a real gather resources week also.. I now have content for about 20 NPCs that I have very little for before. Some of that has now gone into the v0.2 release of the game meaning of the 54 NPCs, at time of writing this 26 of them will have at least 1 unique time/location interaction with a picture / text other than the default. Most of the 26 have more like 5-10(or more) unique interactions and events.
The good news also is that the last few days have been busy days while the next two I am hoping to get some solid hours (least 6 a day) on the game.
So 8 items left to do. 1 is very easy, less than an hour
4 are VERY big so I am only going to be able to start them to indicate where things are going.
1 is going to take a little bit of time.
and the last 2 are to add an extra step to a quest which wont be too bad.
and to put a finish on another quest.. Which I was hoping to tie in a money making option, but that might have to come on the next update.
So all in all, I am feeling hopeful of a Sunday release..
Also would like to say a big thank you to the new (and old) people who have joined my patreon support.. You have no idea how much this means. And really each week how much of a boost it gives me to keep pushing on when I gain a new person :)
