But between a Demon attack, a trip into the Shadow Fey, and days of recovery, Q is behind at work and with classes, so she has plenty to distract herself. For now, that means extra shifts at the library as a penance for all the ways her co-workers helped cover for her.
But when Oona, the Batfolk who lives on Query's hall and has been eyeing her since the first day of school, shows up to ask about the nature of patron pacts with warlocks, the day takes on a steamier tone. Especially when Emas reveals that Oona is really interested in a 24/7 BDSM relationship as her patron's sub, and not just the kind of pact that grants magic.
Thankfully, Query can relate to that ache.
