Book 1 is over!

The poll here is about how you would like me to approach the second books beginning. Do you want me to continue with a web novel style chapter release that doesn't take it into consideration or would you like the first few chapter to also include small recap elements.

2022-08-18 06:26:01 +0000 UTCI'd add a prologue "Reflections" where Ajax thinks back over how he got to this point. Easy introduction for his Brother, Fluffy, Hachett, etc. Otherwise I'd skip it for current readers. We don't need a reminder. You post often enough that we haven't forgotten

2022-08-18 04:59:55 +0000 UTCI think you're fine for the current release - anyone binging has just read it anyone keeping up with the release is probably ok. Ymmv but for me, I really only want a recap if I'm coming back to a story cold from the wait between complete books

While I think my story has decent pacing it might seem drawn out especially at the three chapters a week pace. Even if I do add some recap elements it wouldn't be in the form of a recap chapter but more like reminders of things that happened as he gets ready to leave Lessis with his first adventure team

2022-08-18 04:55:07 +0000 UTCIf you ever publish a book release, I'd edit in a brief summary/recap of book one to the start of book two, but for the chapters as we go I think it breaks flow and just keep going
