I actually tried substance painter but really disliked a lot of how the interface worked. Currently I use blender's texture paint!

2025-08-28 20:33:50 +0000 UTCHonestly it really depends on the day. On average I spend around 6–8 hours actually animating, but the process is much bigger than just moving characters around. A lot of time goes into planning shots, refining storyboards, setting up rigs, rendering tests, and then reviewing everything to make sure the final animation feels right. Some days I barely animate because I’m troubleshooting or doing prep work, and other days I’ll lose track of time and spend 10+ hours straight animating. It’s a mix of long grind sessions and smaller creative bursts!
