Medieval Times (Series): The King's daughter
A special collection of original characters from Medieval times.
Backstory:
The King's daughter was a legend on her own in all corners of the Kingdom. As young princess she showed little interest in the royal affairs, and could often be seen running around with the boys or playing knights and soldiers. As a young woman, she dedicated herself to intense training in the hope of becoming the most skilled fighter she could be. She didn't care much of her royal lineage and respectfully accepted challenges from anyone, anywhere. As she won challenges after challenges, her legend started to grow, up to a point where nobody even dared to challenge her, fearing embarrassment. But one day, a young man from a nearby village sent in an unusual challenge. He explained that he had been building wooden structures with his father for a long time and then started creating training contraption for soldiers or guards. Hearing of her incredible talent he decided to build a really special and extremely challenging contraption just for her, and he was inviting her to try it. She was overjoyed with the opportunity to test herself and immediately accepted the challenge. The next day, the young man greeted her and showed her to a large opening in what looked like a small wooden fort. She draw her sword and she was ready. Bags of rice started swinging from side to side, as she used her sharp reflexes to dispatch them one after the other, she felt confident for a second but she missed the sound of the massive tree log coming swinging behind her. It struck her right in the shoulders, with a force that would have floored almost anyone. The young man became extremely nervous as he realized the perils he could face if he did injure the princess.. But she stood still, looked menacingly a the log and with a swift motion, sent it flying back upwards to where it came from. She didn't miss any other log after that, easily avoiding them, deflecting them, or simply blocking them with her immense strength. In the end a barrage of rice bags came flying from all sides and a final log dropped straight in front of her. Gracefully, she pivoted in a circular motion and carved open all bags at he same time, and continuing the motion behind her, she raised her sword overhead and launched herself toward the coming log with all her strength as she struck down with her sword. Her blade caught the middle of the tree and traveled almost 3 feet deep inside the big log before it came to a halt against her blow. Having cut through the ropes that were holding the log, the back came crushing down on the ground as the front remained stuck in her blade leaving her in a rather funny predicament. Realizing the situation, she casually lifted her sword upwards, making the log stand tall to her side, and started laughing, as she grabbed the log around with her arm like if it were a close friend. From that day, the princess made frequent visit to this young man humble house, and he developed many more training tools and contraptions for her. They became great collaborators, close friends, and so much more. The rules of the kingdom would never allow that union, but she didn't care, and nothing would ever dare to try and stop her from loving him.
