Spirit world a touch up

I'm getting pretty close to shipping this game out which is really exciting! Then I'll get working on a video about it which I'm hoping wont take too long.

As I think I mentioned before, the goal of this simple slenderman-like game is to collect mushrooms around this forested area in the dark of night while being chased by a monster, and you can get a better view of where all the mushrooms are when you turn off your flashlight which gives you a peak into the "spirit world".

Although when doing this I honestly don't think it looks or feels like the flashlight is turning off, it almost looks more like the player is closing their eyes and transported to a different world. I'm ok with this, but it still needs more. I think it would be a good idea to add some sort of transition between being in the dark forest world and then entering the spirit world, maybe a fade in? Or something more dramatic like a flash of light?

Try not to be too thrown off by the lack of sound/music in the video. I usually do that last, I'm just not quite there yet. But we're close!

There have been many other parts of the game I've been working on this week but they are mostly unexciting bug fixes and performance enhancements😬

We're going to get to the point sometime soonish where I could use some playtesting, so if playing the game and providing me some feedback sounds like something you might be interested in, let me know! 🙏
