Just kidding I still want to make horror games, and this project is no exception! Here's the plan, the game will start off as a cute little 2D farming sim where you play as a Celery stalk/head, then half way through the game turns into a 3d horror experience, when you realize the true implications of harvesting vegetables as a vegetable ooOOoOoOoo maybe a bit cheesy but I promise guys it's going to be solid π
Now I imagine that some of you might be feeling some concerns about the other projects I have started and have yet to finish, namely the yellow corn fields village game, Adipocere (the Bathening), and the snow tunnels game. I understand those concerns and feel a bit concerned as well. My dilemma is that those are all turning out to be relatively big games, and I want my content to be filled with a mix of games I am working on, AND games I have made. While those games could reasonably take years to complete (since I am playing one man band over here), my goal for this game is for it to be a quick project that I can finish and then wash my hands of it. Along with adding more experience on how to make/finish games more quickly, I feel like it is beneficial to add more finished games to my arsenal, even if they are all small games.
I am hoping this is will be a good decision, regardless I have been enjoying working on this little "cute" project.
I suck at naming things so if you guys have any ideas for what will make a good name for this game, please let me know. I was just going to go with "Veggie Garden" because it was simple and doesn't look like its associated with anything else specifically on the interwebs. Also let me know if you have any thoughts on a cute horror game about vegetables planting and harvesting other vegetables!
You guys are awesome and I love you. I hope you are all healthy and safe out there, and try to make it a happy valentine's day for someone!
Luke
