DirtyBit's Toy Review - Vibrating Wand from PlusOne

This week I'm taking a look at the Vibrating Wand from PlusOne.

I have talked about the PlusOne product line before and I was pretty impressed with the quality. And when I found myself in BIG BOX STORE again, I figured I would pick up the wand to check out. Convenient I'm on a bit of a vibrating wand thing right now. Maybe I could.... compare them... sometime.

Anyway! Let's focus in on this one.

Visually: So, this wand is so cute. The model on the PlusOne site is purple, but the one I purchased is a really pretty pastel teal blue;  Love the colour. Not much more to say on that. The wand has the brand name molded into the silicone skin, and a single power button that is raised. The silicone has a matte texture that is good for gripping but it becomes slick enough when it gets wet.

The head of the wand is kind of a unique shape as far as wand heads go: It is cylindrical with a domed end, rather than bullet shaped like other wand heads. The edges are rounded though, so it's very gentle looking, like a marshmallow.

It's adorable.

Usability: I really like the size of this wand. It's a mini wand size and lighter than the other wands I have, so it's easy to maneuver and handle, but it doesn't feel cheap. My mind whispers, 'Sailor Moon wand' when I think about the size, so.... If you know, you know.

The control system is super basic: hold the power button for 3 minutes to turn on/ off and click the power button to cycle through vibration patterns. The wand does not have a memory, so the wand will always start at the lowest setting. This has the potential to be annoying, but I don't mind it, personally.

The wand has three different intensity levels and a variety of interesting patterns. As I kind of want the hard intense vibes with no stops, this leaves me a bit unsatisfied. BUT I am excited to say, there is an interesting mix of patterns if that is something you are into and I am impressed with the variety.

The three intensity settings are a solid offering in a entry level toy, but they did leave me missing my other stronger wands.

Overall: I think this is a really great option for someone who is new to toys or new to vibrators. The price and the accessibility make it an easy option to recommend as you can avoid the concerns of going into a sex shop or ordering online and having nosey housemates get into your package. The fact that it feels like a solid vibrator makes it an easy recommendation.

It's not the most powerful wand on the market, but it's a solid option.
