DirtyBit's Toy Review - Die Cast 3R Wand from Doxy

Something something, MAGIC WAND! This week I'm looking at the Die Cast 3R rechargeable vibrating wand massager from Doxy and Lovehoney. The name of it just rolls off your tongue, doesnt it? We'll call it the 3R for short. Let's talk about it!

Visually: This wand has quite a nice look to it and I think the best comparison I can make is, it's kind of like a hot rod? The die cast metal body gives it a really nice feel in the hand and the purple handle is sparkly and glossy, like the paint job on a car. The head is made of silicone and can be removed for cleaning. The buttons are large and easy to see, as they light up when the wand is turned on. Design-wise, it's a wand, although the finishes make it feel very high quality.

Usability: So, off the top, I have a major criticism for the button design: they are very easy to push, especially when a person is getting close to cumming. Kind of annoyed by that and I grumble at length in the audio. I'm also a bit mixed on the removable silicone head; it creates a seam on the head of the wand that I think could be avoided with a slightly better design. Especially after the fully covered head of the Domi 2 last week, I can't help but feel a bit critical of this design and how it can collect unwanted filth so easily. 

Regarding the intensity settings, this wand has 6 levels and I'm happy with that? When the wand is put into pulse mode, it has 6 rates of pulsing vibes. If you are into interesting vibrating patterns, this wand will disappoint you: it just pulses and vibrates. I'm a little surprised it doesn't have a couple patterns in addition to the pulsing, but, that's what it has to offer, so, deal with it? I guess?

I find the vibes from this wand left my clit and surrounding area feeling a bit tingly at the end of the session. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it was notable, so note it. I feel like this wand runs at a slightly higher frequency than the Domi 2. I can't help but compare them.

This wand is rechargeable and cordless, which makes me very happy. 

Overall: I find, the button thing has bitten me so many times in the short time of owning this wand, that I struggle to verbally gush for this toy, no matter what my pussy says. I think, I would be less critical, if this wand wasn't significantly more expensive than other wands on the market. To be clear, this is a a limited edition item, so, some of the price is specifically paying for the joy of owning something "special", so, if that doesn't matter to you, that price will seem extra silly. Add in the lack of vibrational patterns, and the extra cleaning that comes with this design, I just find myself a little underwhelmed, despite the physical quality of the wand. The vibes are great, but I think there are other models out there that are a bit more accessible, as far as prices go. 

I came, tho. A lot. So, I'm happy.
