Velvet Alley Designs has a Mystery Bag item and we all know I'm a sucker for surprises. I thought I had lost my unboxing audio but Great News Everybody! I found my it! So, I included that for you, my lovely patrons, so you can hear the unboxing glee. If you are interested in seeing the full model, Im trying this new thing where I upload shit to Pornhub? Check that out HERE. Patrons have early access to the video if you want it, then it will go live the following week just like the audios.
Today I am reviewing Legacy in soft with an added comment on the Mystery Bag.
Visually: I really like the gothic style that Velvet Alley puts on their toys and this one is right in that vein. As this was a mystery bag, I was mostly just excited to get a model I had been looking at for a while.
The pour looks really lovely and is a mix of silver and teal? The teal makes the silver look almost blue, so, I fail to describe the color accurately at first. He glows in the dark! I really love the sculpt; the groove of the horn is asymmetrical as if the dead unicorn had been in fights or wore it down over life. That's just a really cool design choice and I appreciate it. Due to the softness of the silicone, the horn droops a little bit, but I'm not sure why I would consider that an issue, but I feel its worth mentioning.
Usability: It's kind of like fucking myself with a hatchet handle? How to explain.... all the weight of the toy is in my hand, but it fits fairly well, so, it's pretty good? It gives me some heft to pound it into my pussy, or a nice platform to bounce on if I feel like impaling myself. I find the way the grooves are cut into the horn makes for an interesting variation that I wasn't sure I would notice, and, I'm telling you, I did. I appreciate that design choice just a bit more. Due to the softness of the toy, I find it has a substantial squish to it. The Velvet Alley Design soft seems to be a bit more squishy than my other soft toys, which might come as a surprise if a person wants something a bit more firm. Personally, I like it?
Overall: I think the base heavy design might not be for everyone, especially if you have wrist issues. But it makes up for that by giving you a spot to sit, so, I struggle to fault it too much. I think the sculpt is really cool and has some neat design elements that add to the experience. Much like with craven, I'm horribly curious how it would feel in a more firm silicone. I like this boy! I think he's cool. I kind of want him in a bloody rainbow mess of death pour; I'm not sure what that looks like exactly.
The Mystery Bag Element
I like the surprise, you know? I think, if you are not super attached to the color aesthetic of the toy, this is a great deal and I suppose you have to purchase at least a few bags before you really start worrying about the potential of doubles. The bags do have the potential to contain toys that have small cosmetic flops, so this may not be for you if that's something you don't like. I do believe the bags are mostly soft and medium firmness, which are my preferred firmness choices, but again, if you don't like the surprise element, this is probably going to disappoint you.
I like it, I think its a fun time. I highly recommend it if the idea interests you! Very happy with my unicorn skull that I can fuck myself with.
