For Serious Though - Me And My Work - Some Thoughts

This is a *super* serious one, my dears. As serious as I can be anyway. HAHA!
There has been some stuff happening in the VA/ performer community that made me feel it is important to address how I conduct myself, for transparency reasons and just to make my stance on some issues clear.
Just so I also have it written down where the world can see it: NO is always a full and complete answer with me, whether it is a script idea, or a saucy interaction. Never EVER feel obligated to give me ANYTHING. I am so so so fortunate to have people who want to listen to what I make and what I have to say and how I get off, and then they want to support me too!? This means so much to me and I do not have any interest in jeopardizing it in order to manipulate or use people.
I understand I am working in a complex area of life, with a lot of room for nuance and a lot of exterior influences that affect how we see ourselves and others in this space. I am not interested in making anyone feel poorly about themselves in this area, but there is a risk of it, so I would like you to know, if it does happen, you are completely valid in being upset with me. I hope you give me the opportunity to learn from it, but I also understand if you don't.
This is all I can really ask, you know? I'm just trying my best and I love the opportunity to be better if possible.

Thank you for choosing to share with your Patreons, and never EVER feel like you owe us anything that hasn't been paid for, that we've both agreed too before hand. Consent in just about anything is whats most important, as is clear communication. Thank you, too, for being so transparent. Finally, sorry for the ramble, for whatever reason, I can't use enter to break lines LOL. Very interesting information on the DM's. I may need to change up tactics there if I'm in a more squirrelly mood myself. 😆

It sounds like the VA/performer can be a tough position to be in, given that the listeners are *ugh* humans with their, sometimes, shitty behavior. I appreciate your thoughts on this, and you being transparent and thoughtful towards your listeners. I think the business transaction here in patreon is pretty straightforward. Don't feel obligated to give us anything other than that.
