Added 2025-11-08 10:40:46 +0000 UTCWe are super happy we finished the bedroom renovation before the little one arrived. It’s not totally perfect yet, but it’s such a lovely, cosy space; perfect for resting and recovering in these first few weeks with baby.
There’s lots going on in this video, including a little snippet of the birth! It was quite intense to watch back, but I’m so happy that Robbie filmed it as it’s such a special, magical moment. (My shock at finding out Wren was a boy was not disappointment, but genuine disbelief as I’d convinced myself he would be a girl!)
Context for the end of the video: Our very lovable, but slightly too playful cat, Cosmo, makes it very difficult for me to film our latest brand deal! In hindsight, I probably should have just chucked him out.. all threats and no action!

Haha thanks Mike! Sage is definitely a character, will be interesting to see if Wren likes all the building work too. Wren is definitely a more relaxed baby, sleeping all night long, whereas Sage didn't sleep for more than 30 minutes, it was tough going! Haha yes we have 7 cats now, it all originated from Esme the first cat that appeared on our land a year or so ago, then kittens just kept appearing but we couldn't catch her to take to the vet, luckily all the cats have been to the vet now so no more kittens on the horizon. We are unsure whether to re-home some of them, but they are such funny characters, they really grow on you, i'm thinking now we'll end up just keeping them! Yes trimming the weeds had a big effect, generating 5kw now, one small weed can prevent the entire panel from generating power because of the way the cells are arranged, not sure how that works! 💖

Wren has a lot to live up to, you set the bar pretty high with Sage - he is by far the coolest project I have watched you create so far! I have concerns though, there appear to be twice as many cats in every video as there were in the previous video...are they in double figures yet? And I'm curious if trimming the vegetation had much effect on the solar power, did it help?
