Hey everyone! We really hope you are all keeping well 🌟☺️

It’s been a hot June and we are desperately waiting for the village swimming pool to open! 🀞🏻 Sage and I spent a couple of weeks in England with family, and have just got back from a few days break on the coast too!

The outer stone wall is coming on nicely, and we are hoping to have the arch completed in another month or so.

In this video: ongoing conversations about goats, and plans to knock into the tool shed adjacent to the house for more space for upcoming baby! (Who is doing very well, and making their presence known!)

Thank you as always for your support. We REALLY appreciate it. All our love and best wishes to you ❀️❀️❀️

Hey Ken! Thanks for the advice, good to know, we need to put in some ground work with the new kittens to make sure they stay friendly. They are interesting characters, they all have their own thing going on, so fun to have around! Interesting you say they sometimes only bond to one person, quite similar to dogs then? And happy we haven't seen them bring any animals home yet, maybe if we feed them enough they won't eat the birds... we can hope at least! 🧑🧑🧑

I've rescued many kittens but they are very hard to tame once they become feral. It is possible, it just takes time... And usually, they only bond to one person...

Thank you Jerry for all your kind words and support, keeping our channel going with your donations! Haha, just enjoying the beautiful nature of the Mediterranean! ❀️

You finally turn around and its out of focus! CURSES!!!LOL!!! (An old man can hope, can't he?LOL!) Emilia, I did enjoy your movie performance, though!

Thank you Cassio! So happy you enjoyed this video, and thank you for all your kind support, it's great to have you on this journey with us!! Don't know what we'd do without the seaside & the lovely swimming locations, you need the refreshing breaks after weeks of working high up on the mountain! One day maybe we'll have a pool to cool off at our house, that would really help with our energy levels in summer! 🧑🧑🧑

Emilia Fenton

Wow thank you Rob these are all very lovely words, it's very rewarding to hear you're enjoying them, and gives us lots of motivation to get out there and make more videos, so thank you 🧑🧑🧑

Emilia Fenton

Thanks Martin! Oh that's cool, glad you thought it was a good fit, and you have one too! We spent a long time finding a brand that we liked and would use, appreciate you letting us know. We were never really sure about our spring, it's hard to get water tested for all the different things, so this way we know we're covered. Really appreciate your ongoing support Martin!! 🧑🧑🧑

Hi. I see you have your first sponsorship from Waterdrop. Good choice IMHO. I have that A2 model. It's fantastic. Videos as wonderful and life affirming as ever.

Martin Hedley-Smith

Your stories are touching, thoughtful, inspiring, beautiful, entertaining, and brilliant. Thank you, from both of us.

Rob

Glad to see you're all doing well. It's always great to have these moments of family togetherness and relaxation. A beautiful and healthy pregnant woman. Congratulations.

Thank you Michael for all your love and support! It's a nice time of year, the trees are really coming into their own, starting to create a bit of shade around the place. Think we had about 3 shade giving trees on our whole land when we moved here it was incredibly arid, one day we'll be able to walk around completely under the shade of our trees! Yes the house is coming on slowly but surely, we're building the arch for our front door this month, we're pretty excited about it 🧑🧑

Thanks Harriet! Haha "too Savage"! That's brilliant. Haha you set out with such good spirits to fight the stray cat problem... it's good you guys tried at least! That doesn't sound good for us, Esme is going to be terrifying once we've got her locked in a cage! We spoke to the local town hall and they said they'd pay for the cats to be neutered, due to the ongoing stray cat problem in the villages here, we just have to catch them, so we're borrowing some traps from a friend, fingers crossed we get it all sorted quickly, so we can get on with house building! The kittens are so cute right now, Sage loves them, we do worry when they grow up they're going to eat all our precious birds we've been nurturing for the past 4 years though! Saw our first Hoopoe at the fuente this week, never seen one up here before, feels nice that maybe it came here because we made a nice habitat for it! Do you guys get those birds? 🧑🧑

Emilia Fenton

Good to know it's a heatwave and it's not just us struggling! We walk around the whole day with wet towels tied to us haha. We're drinking a lot of water with sea salt in, which seems to really help! We spoke to the village town hall and found out they pay the vet bills on neutering so all we have to do is catch them, so we're borrowing some traps from a friend and hopefully cant get it all sorted by the weekend! Will definitely be wearing Robbie's welding gloves. We're excited about the new bedroom! Haha... yes it does seem like a fair trade, he gets his goats, I get my bedroom! If it was up to Robbie we'd all be sleeping in one room for the rest of our lives so he could roam the hills with his herd of goats! Thanks Gil! 🧑

Emilia Fenton

Stay cool in this heatwave. It has been unbearable! Stray cats is going to be difficult. I believe it takes time and there is no immediate solution unless is forced confinement which should not be a real option. Good luck with the bedroom idea. Maybe if you give Robie the goats he will do the bedroom!

We caught a wild cat a couple of years ago by giving it its food in one of those transport carrier things and then one day we snuck up and shut the door whilst it was eating. We took it to the vets but it was too savage and they refused to treat it. So we ended up releasing it out in the campo and we decided that was the end of our noble efforts to fight the stray cat population, at least for now..

Everything is growing, the belly, the family, the house.
