Thanks Gil! We have 30 chickens still, despite the all the eagle attacks! So in the spring/ summer months we get around 25 eggs per day. We sell them locally in the village, we have done since we moved here, as our first income stream. It's amazing how well they sell, much better than vegetables for some reason. We sell for €2.50 for 6, fully organic, it's pretty difficult to get anything organic around here so for the few people who like organic they always come back to us. We still sell vegetable boxes to a few people locally, but these days we keep most for ourselves because the prices of organic food in the supermarkets just keeps going up! Quite a few people trade avocados/ lemons/ oranges with us for eggs, which works out well, we wish more people could supply the things we don't have, like organic goats milk and goats cheese, that would be amazing! ❤️
