HAPPY JUNE! ☀️🌼🦎

It feels so good to have posted the last two videos, it felt like we were working on them for a lifetime! We’re back trying to finish the compost toilet now, that will be the next video! We’ve been planting up the green roof, we’re really excited about that. We’re absolutely dying to use it as Robbie is tired of digging holes and I must admit, I’ve had enough of cleaning buckets out. We’ve had an absolute explosion of life in our reed bed: fish, tadpoles, water boatman, frogs, dragon flies… although it does seem the mouflon are drinking a lot of it and we have to keep filling it up!

We had a really great rain at the start of this week, and everything is starting to feel more abundant! We’ve been picking lots of fruit from the local trees: cherries and nísperos galore. Our plums are coming out too, and the wild chamomile has been amazing.

Check out the animal footage at the end of the video, we’re super excited about all the animals, more and more moving in each month now we’re making a little habitat for them!

Me and Sage are going England for a little welcome break tomorrow. We are all really looking forward to (maybe Robbie more than anybody! I think he might sleep for the three days straight.)
