2025-05-17 16:58:49 +0000 UTCStill trying to remember what my first cassette was. Might have be We Are The World: USA for Africa (I seem to recall it was some how melted on top of our toaster...). My brother stole my Paula Abdul cassette. But I'm pretty sure my first CD was Annie Lennox, Diva. I grew up with a lot of great music in the house though & my uncle made awesome mix tapes. My brother spent all his savings on a 5 CD changer with two cassette decks. We made mix tapes all the time. His first 2 CDs were Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Stone Temple Pilots - And Pearl Jam shortly thereafter. We were an eclectic house of lyric lovers. There was a LOT of Paul Simon.
