This post is for anyone who may be having trouble or internal struggles when it comes to this line of work, no matter what learning tier you are on. Here are some reminders to keep with you:

1. Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s. Focus on your work, your craft, and your own wins. We all take different paths in this work - something that may work out for another SWer may not work out for you.

2. There’s a difference between actively putting the work in and waiting for things to fall in your lap. You’ll only disappoint yourself and waste your time if you do the second choice. Closed mouths don’t get fed. Doing the work gets the bag. Even with my success, I could chill, but I’m STILL working hard daily. Never get too comfortable if your goal is to secure multiple bags.

3. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Yes, work hard as stated above, but also remember to take breaks if you get overwhelmed. You’re not your best, sexy creative self if you’re tired.

4. Depending on how far you want to go in your journey, actively network. If you’re a Domme, attend more kink based events; if you’re a SB, get out in person to go freestyle. I know with Covid there has been restrictions and safety concerns, so still do what you’re comfortable with.

Overall, hang in there. Some people see success immediately, some may take some time. This isn’t an industry of overnight success!
