WHEN TRIBUTE IS APPROPRIATE : FETLIFE VS TWITTER
Added 2020-05-05 14:57:47 +0000 UTCThis is a VERY IMPORTANT POST! ⚡️⚡️
I review a lot of profiles in my down time and there is something I see often: asking for tribute in the wrong spaces.
On Fetlife, it is a more serious BDSM arena, meaning you’ll meet subs on there that have been into BDSM for years. These are LIFESTYLE SUBS meaning they are used to connecting with a Dom/Domme on a serious D/s level and most likely won’t tribute to you before meeting you in person. Please realize that FINDOM is a newer concept to BDSM and not everyone will be into it.
In other words, don’t expect subs to tribute to you on Fetlife just for existing (which is their right). You could possibly get your account reported and deleted, as Fetlife doesn’t allow this type of language as their rules. You can, however, post in specific threads that cater to Findom by searching in Groups (as taught in previous lessons). You are better off sending your Sub Application to random subs in your DM AFTER you have read their profile and decided you’d like to take them on. From there, you can talk on Kik to gauge if they are a finsub or not. This industry is very good at black listing dommes they see as not being authentic. Remember, you are creating relationships.
But on TWITTER, ask for tribute right away. Majority of subs on twitter know what Findom is and know what’s expected of them. They specifically want this psychological kink.
Don’t get yourself deleted off of these resourceful platforms.

I was poking around the site and decided to join a group called “Benefactors for Femdoms”. I read through the rules and some of the posts before posting myself and was immediately banned. I reached out to Fetlife Support and was told that my account was too new (about a month old) to post in the group. Again, didn’t see anything about age minimums for the life of your account for this particular group. So if you’re newer to the site, just be mindful of how you move.
