Here at The Sexcademy, I can not stress enough how important it is to screen clients! Yes, we want to get to the bag, but the bag is NEVER worth your safety. Properly screening clients before sessions (both online and in person) can help you to keep yourself safe and also not waste your time. You can do this screening with subs, sugar sponsors, and clients in general.
- Reverse Number Look Up
If a client gives you their phone number, it’s smart to look up their information by doing a reverse phone look up. Apps like Mr Number allow you to put in a clients number and see other reviews from other people that have interacted with them before. These can be either positive or negative reviews and it helps you decide if you want to interact with a client.
- Ask for ID
Asking a client to send you a photo of their ID is standard practice. They don’t need to show you their address on the card, but their name and photo should be visible. This is less likely asked for in online sessions but is absolutely necessary for in person sessions (this applies to subs). If they don’t want to show you their ID before meeting you in person, this is a RED FLAG.
- Ask for references
Getting references from a potential client helps you to find out who they’ve interacted with before and if they are credible. You should always ask them who they’ve done sessions with before and you should make sure that they are saying a real person. Some clients will lie just to try to get over.
- Meet in a PUBLIC place before a session
It’s always ideal to meet a client for coffee, food, etc. Always pick a place where you are comfortable. It is also okay to charge a “social fee” meaning a fee for your time.

Or does online screening depend on the extent of the contact - for ex, not actively screening if someone is using a site like NiteFlirt but screening more thoroughly if you're messaging or going to do a skype or zoom session?
