SAFETY FOR SESSIONS
Added 2020-03-30 13:35:59 +0000 UTCSo now that you’ve booked an in person session, I’m pretty sure your next concern is how to stay safe. Here are some steps you can take:
• Decide your booking location
NEVER GO TO A CLIENTS HOUSE. THIS IS UNSAFE AND CAN PUT YOU IN DANGER.
Dungeon vs hotel
Your best bet for ultimate safety is to book a dungeon in your city, as most dungeons provide security, employees, and an overall safe environment for your session. Be sure to include the dungeon fee in your overall booking fee when a sub approaches you for a session.
If your city doesn’t have a dungeon, the next best thing would be to book a hotel. Try to have the booking in your name and always arrive before the client. This gives you the time and opportunity to scope out your surroundings, notice exit points, and set the room up how you want. Allowing a client to get there before you gives them access to manipulating the room.
Bringing security with you to hotel sessions is key. Security can be a family member, close friend, significant other, or whoever else you’re comfortable with knowing your lifestyle. Having them stand outside the room or having them in the lobby is ideal. Be sure to let the client know that you will have security. If they aren’t fond of this, it’s a RED flag.
If you don’t have security within close friends and family, you can always reach out to security companies to provide you with this. Yes it’s pricier, but it secures your safety.
Sending your location to someone you trust
Use the location services option on your phone to send your location to someone you trust. Let them know that you’re going to a session and to stay alert for the duration of it.
