Harder and Better? Higher Scale Maps?

So while I was thinking about ways to improve the game by changing rendering system and environment I didn't think about making map mods at all.

But now after recent talks, what do you think about totally new map mods for countries one by one? I can make it like 1:5 scale (yes, I know Its hard and big but also I can downscale maps to add options for players).

There are many data provided for countries these days, like you have all the heightmaps, road data, foliage data, building (even some 3d models for big cities, ofc thats not going to be possible :D It will be only good for iconic buildings and other buildings are going to use procedural building system). It would be just easier to use them and make new maps with totally new assets.

I'm not going to use mod system from the game but instead I will add only "hidden" roads inside maps for mod system in the game (so you can drive and AI can drive). So game is going to know all the roads added by plugin but It wont render them, and It wont load anything else.

Plugin is going to load and render environment, roads etc with all the new improvements. Thats also means I can implement to newer versions of game a lot easier. Because It wont depend on anything from the game.

Also I think low scaling maps are good only when environment is not that realistic. Because when environment doesn't look that good and you drive in same environment for long time you will get bored pretty fast. But what most of players want is "REALISM", which you can't get that much because of low scale maps.

So I think totally new higher scale maps with good looking environment is going to make feeling a lot realistic. What do you think? I can start with a country and add others later one by one.

How about add TAA for VR before redoing the entire world.
